How does Melo get a pass this year? I’ve seen Iverson, LeBron, Kobe, D. Howard, etc. all lead teams with a worst supporting cast during a more competitive NBA. This. And it's not like they're playing in the western conference. Over .500 records are not a requirement in the East.

This Knicks team is a reflection of their terrible owner and management, a 6th man of the year who came in to the season nowhere near close to basketball shape, the worst starting PG in the league, and money tied up into two players who arent bringing much to the floor.

The problem with the players you just listed is that for the most part the team was built around players to compliment them. Dwight had a bunch of three point shooters, AI had shooters and people who would relent to his will. Melo is a ball dominant player surrounded by other ball dominant players and one big who really has one purpose: STAND THERE.

The only thing that Melo can really be held responsible for is the way he came to the Knicks. They blew up the team for him when they didnt need to, but everything else is not on him.

No pass from me at all. Yeah hes a great scorer but thats about it. Leadership is not in his arsenal and when people say hes a superstar I think its a joke
