Russell Westbrook asked if he still holds anything against Patrick Beverley: "Nah"

How is it not a good fit? Whole bunch of explosive dudes all over the floor that can kick out to him for open shots.

Doug is too good a player to just end up being a spot up shooter.

He's not that good.

But, he would be perfect in that Ryan Anderson role + more consistent (which was no fault of Ryan's :{). I think Philly would be a great fit. Just him going top 10 is what is bothersome :lol

Nah brother, McDermott is the truth.

Offensively, you could build a team around that guy.

Pat called lillard a whiner on local radio :lol

He's from Chicago, and listens to lil Reese before games. What do you expect?

Russell Westbrook said he has no grudge against Patrick Beverley, but grew agitated at the topic, saying "no more questions about that."

Russell Westbrook asked again about Patrick Beverley: "What'd I just say? That's it. No more questions on that."

These reporters have been stirring the pot all around the league more than usual this season, just itching to get that one sound bite to then report back to the next player

I'll agree to disagree there.

I don't think he'll be Adam Morrison and bust out completely but I don't think he's a lottery pick kinda player.

But again, I love him in the right situation. The Kings would be another good situation with a big 5 to create outside space.

doug mcdermott = glen rice
always comparing him to a white player :lol

Clippers and Rockets looking scary man I tell you...why do I think one of these teams may represent the West. I have a very strong feeling the West is gonna be represented by a team that everyone is looking past 8o

McDermott's basketball IQ is so much better than Morrison's was, has a much more complex idea of spacing and footwork than Morrison ever did. I agree with Pro, Ryan Anderson type is what he is but Doug is just such a smart player who can shoot the lights out that I think he is completely bust-proof.

I would absolutley love it if he ended up being better than Harrison Barnes which he very well might be :lol

You are not building anything around Doug. He can carve out a nice career though.
