What is a realistic S&T proposal teams could offer the Knicks for Melo?

Personally, I feel as though this has to be considered. Especially if the return includes draft picks.

Really difficult to see one because you'd have to find the happy medium between a market Melo would want to go to, team situation, good teammates in place, appropriate assets going out and the financial burden going both ways.

I want to say the Warriors (Lee, Barnes, filler?), but they don't have any draft picks to give up for awhile. I guess the Suns have the draft picks, but I don't think Melo would find them attractive enough from a player personnel point of view.

Nash and Barkley won MVPs in Phoenix. It's not exactly a small market where your efforts will go unnoticed.

You're right...on the Knicks end, getting young, servicable players + picks, would be essential to their rebuild. However, what they do with those picks/players will probably be botched due to who they have running the show.

I don't PMatic was saying the size of Phoenix is the problem - its that there's not enough existing star power on the roster for Melo to find the team attractive. He's just not going to believe that, with the current roster, he can turn them into a real contender in the West.

Acy with the little big man dunk

Don't know why, but I have a feeling the Clippers-Lakers game is going to be close tonight.

Melo will never be on Barkley's level? Really? I disagree
Are you serious man, I realize the Melo talk has gotten beyond old but Barkley >>>>>>>>> Melo, it's not even remotely close. Barkley had AT LEAST 8-10 seasons that were better than Melo's best. His peak from '88-93 was so far ahead of anything Melo has ever done or ever will do it's silly to even compare.

People forget what Sir Charles did in Philly & Phoenix :{ ... dude was 6'4" and averaged a double double every season except is rookie year! 16 years of consistency.

Even watered down Chuck was still putting in major work in Houston, ask SHAQ!
