ima jump outta here though. Whenever there's any refutation to claims, people get labeled haters. No actual counter argument to the fact that KD has put up better numbers for a longer stretch this year.

Its not all about numbers sir. What was okcs losing streak after the all star break? Didn't they lose there first 4 games at home? MVP doesn't go to the most valuable player in the league it goes to the best player on the best team. That's how the mvp trophy works.

lost 3 games.. still the number 1 seed in the west
Behind the Heat (and Pacers) in the best overall record standings. 8o

And that was with the Heat sleep walking.

What kind of stupid qualifier is that. Lol.

Terrible argument. You're bringing up a series when Bron was approaching his prime and KD was just starting to get his recognition. shouldn't even be in context of what we're discussing

Lin is a game time decision tonight against the heat, according to @DatZNasty, he's purposely faking an injury to relieve himself of any criticism if he doesn't play well.

There the 1 seed by 1 game in the loss column. And yes they do lebrons team is on a 8 game win streak. Keep up or get moving. That was 3 months ago were in march now. And where was all the kd slander when he lost in 5 games to Bron in the finals? I didn't see him get slandered like Bron did after that 2011 finals.

Considering KD was in his 4th or 5th year and wasn't being sworn up & down as the best player on earth for 3-4 years prior...... or how about he didn't have a series where he was literally scared to shoot the rock and finish games.

LBJ was scrutinized not because he lost but because people questioned his heart and ability to step up when his team needs him, KD lost that series but NONE of that was ever questioned about KD.

we're talking about multiple seasons ago. He's in his prime now.
.

Lol Durant came in the leauge 07-08 if you wanna use the whole prime argument on why he shouldn't have been blasted like Bron was in 07 and how he was in 2011 that's ridiculous. And it does go with this argument becuase people are complaining about the coverage Bron is getting right now which before he was blasted for failing. If he deserves to be blasted for failing he deserves to be blasted for greatness.

westbrook has played 30 games this season (out of the 60 games OKC has played to date)
Let's wait and see who has the best record when the seasons over. MVPs gonna go to who has The best record.
how does that make 16 games missed even to 30 games missed?

and considering the level of competition in the east, wouldn't it be pretty sad if the heat or pacers dont end up with the overall best record?

oklahoma city is -20.5.

let that sink in

Your making points that the voters aren't gonna care about when they vote. There just gonna loom at who's the best player on the best team. It was the same thing when drose won his mvp.

There's still a quarter of the season left. Can we maybe wait and see how it plays out before arguing about who the MVP is?

At this point Durant and Lebron both playing lights out. Team with best record will determine MVP.
