He leads all point guards in blocks this season. 4th in steals CP3 is 2nd. Who do you guys think is a better on ball defender? I'd think wall because of size and quickness.

Out of the two, definitely Wall. I was just saying "best defender at PG" was a bit early. CP3 is not a that great of a defender. He's smart and plays the lanes well. But he's not locking anybody up man to man.

Really thinking about and comparing CP3 and Walls game the only advantage CP3 has is shooting, better team and he's been doing it longer. Wall could average just as many assist in LA as Paul can. He just needs some playoff success.

You say can't shoot as if he hasn't vastly improved his jumper this season. He's been balling with a jumper. Have you watched him play this year? 13/19 last night half were jumpers. I don't get "anytime soon" when he's been getting praised for his better shooting all season long.

His jumper is def better but its not consistent enough for me to say he can be the best pg in the league a year from now...you gonna get praise if you improve from being a terrible to maybe decent shooter

Walls shooting percentage is better than Kyrie Irving. Shooting and playoff appearances are his only advantages. The Wizards and Clippers teams are on a different level. Without Paul they kept winning. What would happen if DC lost Wall?

not sure who you're referring to, but you lost credibility saying he's a great one on one defender. dude's scrappy, but he gets abused by scoring point guards. he's just small. Everything else you said has already been stated though, so I'm not sure where your rant came from. He's a good defender, but not bonafide elite. The reason he makes the first team all defense is off steals. So I challenge YOU to do some research.

For comparison, In Chris Paul's 4th year, before he was on a stacked team, he was averaging 23-5.5-11 on 50% shooting. He lead that team to 49 wins in the west. Wall is a terrible shooter and turns the ball over way too much, which are probably the two worst problems to have as a PG(the reason his teams don't win like Paul's do/did).

Not saying Wall can't fix thos problems but until he does he isn't on the same level imo.
