Kobe had his presser over ASW and he made it seem like he knew this season was a lost cause and he was going to rest up for next season.

Kobe said hes returning to play as many games he can this season, but a article came out a couple days ago saying his knee is too painful to run test, and hes out an additional 3 weeks

Caron butler to the thunder
excellent signing. I think he has more left than Granger, just need a few corner 3s out of him, some defense on occassion at the 2-3, maybe a bit of smallball 4 with the bench, and brings an overall level of toughness physically and mentally. It cant beocme official til tomorrow at 5 but I wonder if they still introduce him tonight or if he'll be there. I want to be there the first time he is show on the jumbotron

Shocked he didnt end up in South Beach

Miami is gonna end up not getting any of these three guys

Miami really doesn't need Butler or Granger. They got Beasley on ice. I think Spoelstra is saving dude for the playoff rotation ala Mike Miller.

If anything Miami needs a guard. I'd like to see them go after Jimmer strictly for entertainment purposes, but he's prolly going to the Bulls at this point.

Maybe when can get Ben Gordon on the Heat. I would rather another two guard then a small forward considering we have Beasley, Battier, and Allen.

Man with the luck of the Heat, Gordon will turn into playoff 09 killing the Celtics Gordon :lol

Jimmer going to the Bulls would be a big plus
Imagine if Rose was healthy......the possibilities :eek

If the Clippers do not advance past the 2nd round this year what is going to be the narative?

IMO, its going to depend on who they play and how they lose. For example, if OKC stays at 1, the Clippers get the 4 seed and they end up losing to the Thunder in a 7 game series, I don't think there's going to be much to say other than they lost to a better team. But if they were to get swept, its a different story.

But no matter what, if they lose in round 2, you'll get some people saying that CP and/or BG can't get it done in the playoffs.

Dear god don't let Jimmer or Gordon sign with the Heat. I can see the heartbreak already.

I just hope we don't have to see Caron Butler isos that lead to painful 18 footers anymore.
