Bosh is overpaid. We dont realize it cause hes with wade and bron winninh but if he were in a situation like joe Johnson he prob wouldnt do much better
But he isn't though, did you watch Bosh play at all before he came to MIA? Be honest.
I think bosh goes to Dallas after this season.

We hate on him cuz he's flamboyant, but Bosh is actually really good.

Magic just gets too excited about basketball to be coherent. He's obviously an intelligent guy to do all the things he does but he turns into a schizophrenic when the game is discussed.

I think he's just got great people advising him on the daily.

I know Melo is doing his thing statistically, but has anyone in the NYC media (or any fans) held him accountable for some of the Knicks roster woes? If he comes to NYC via FA, there would have been more flexibility with personnel decisions.

It's not something that's discussed too often from what I see or that it's put at his feet that he "brought this on himself".

I personally believe using that amnesty on Billups and getting Tyson was our main financial **** up. Not signing Amare. I obviously appreciate what Amare did for us, but basketball wise I blame him for why this turned into a snowball effect.

That's how I feel. Everyone knew he was going to break down, it's not his fault he took the best offer out there. The energy and life that he (and that first half team) brought to a very stagnant fan base was and always will be appreciated. Everyone knew it was only a matter of time before he broke down. I'm not gonna say he ****** anything up.
Plus, it's not like he got the big contract and came in loafing around like Joe Johnson.  He made big improvements in his game, came in with a 100x better attitude than he had in Phoenix, and came in willing to put the team on his shoulders.  Had the best season he ever had the first year after a huge contract, which isn't something you can say for most NBA free agents.

The knees though.

what the hell New Orleans :{  :x

@sbnation: The Pelicans made Pierre less scary, then introduced KING CAKE BABY AHHHH (pic:

what in the sloppy **** is that? :x

Looks like a toy you'd see lying in a gutter and walk away from really quickly.

First they're called the pelicans :{

Then they play at the smoothing center or whatever it's ayo called

Now this?!??

Lol

A situation like Joe Johnson in BK or ATL? Dudes forget Bosh averaged 24 & 10 consistently before MIA.

I hear ya...in one regard, you have to feel bad for him. I mean, you can just see it in his face on a nightly basis. However, personally, I just can't help to wonder how much different things could have been had he just waited until FA to sign with New York.

Winning, in New York, in the East, is going to be an uphill battle for the next couple of years. If Melo really wants to have a chance to compete for a ring, his best bet might be to sign elsewhere over the summer.

The fallout, while not on LeBron/Cleveland levels, would be crazy.

Idk how that baby thing makes it anywhere close to a basketball floor. Do they not have a marketing or PR team, did they not hold a focus group, did they not look at it themselves???.

You add a 4 point line, how much will you have to expand the floor to compensate for it? Too much I think.

the fallout if melo left ny would be crazy? i think most people would be understanding actually given how the organization has cosistantly made errors and dug themselves deeper into a hole

eh, it's a mardi gras/lent thing. it's right around the corner

They named their team the pelicans, and approved those jerseys. Anything is possible.

Melo forced the knicks to give up half their roster to get him because he's greedy he's getting what he deserves honestly

This too :{ .. Chandler was not worth 15 mil at the time, can't convince me otherwise.

Donnie wanted to wait on Melo in FA as well, as I remember. It was partially Dolan's impatience & insistence that they make the trade immediately that led him to make the decision to leave.

I remember saying their best bet was to keep that team together and make a playoff push then sign Melo in free agency.

how has melo been negative or whiny? stop projecting
Over 4 years you're telling me this is a guy with positive body language on and off the court?  Please.

You guys are so excited when he puts up 40 pt games in losing efforts in the midst of a horrible season.  Those are his special moments to shine.

When the playoffs and big games come around, though...  When he actually does have talent and expectations around him...

Well we all know what happens then.
