You want him to consistently be around 100% from deep. Gotcha.

Never mind the 40 and 10 though.
he missed 2 free throws that were much needed

he cant crack under pressure if he wants to be a serious MVP candidate

KD had a lot of good looks and opportunities

you cant let that slide especially when the game lies on it

Are you insinuating that KD missing free throws tonight, missing some shots, has to do with westbrook being back? Man this logic is so bad.

*****. with that volume, he's going to have misses. KD was the only reason they even competed. They need to get Westbrook out of here. Entire offense is suspect with him out there

Playoffs is more about matchups than seeding.

The clips may not beat the thunder, but they've played them very well in recent years. Memphis isn't a good matchup for them.

Greg Oden starting for LeBron James.

In 2014.

Not sure I ever expected to read that in this lifetime.

We really back on this "Westbrook holds KD back" nonsense again?

It's Westbrook's 2nd game back and KD is about to hit 40.

ur basically blind if you can't see the limitation. or just haven't watched KD all season.

although people have been saying this since they first played together, this season should be obvious

y'all dudes must not realize they need WB to win a Chip. KD can't win it on his own. He's missed a lot of time, let him get his groove back.

Yes its a mental thing imo

KD is losing his confidence since westbrook is back

KD doesnt have that franchise player confidence anymore

its like back when Lebron was on the cavs he was the superstar and only relied on himself

to carry the team so he made the big plays and tried everything he could to win

Since KD has westbrook back he doesnt have to play with the same intensity or heart because he can fall back on his team

EDIT: the best way i can explain it is

back when Ellis and Curry were on GSW

Ellis was the man (like Durant)

Curry was Westbrook

now look what happened

Curry is the man now

i think this is what Durant fears

Whats a servant to a king? Seriously, why is he calling himself the Servant? :{ Doesn't he know hes one of the top two players in the league?

Jeff Van Gundy is so wrong. Without LeBron, Miami would be a 6th seed in the East attest. Dwyane can't even stay healthy for crying out loud.

You guys can think whatever you want

OKC shouldnt of lost today plain and simple

They also should of beat Miami

Only variable is  Westbrook and thats who im blaming

Lol You really believe D Wade be hurt?

Coach Popavich(sp?) would like a word with you.

I'm curious what does Westbrook do that holds Durant back?

he dictates a flow that doesnt benefit others at all. it's cool in spurts, but he doesnt really have any concept of when it's good and bad to take shots. He looks him off in PNR situations, or just looks him off period. He's gotten marginally better over time, but it's still bad. Just a bunch of errant play that quite frankly isn't acceptable when you have on of the all time best talents.

Westbrook doesnt get his guys shots that they like either. Yall think it's a coincidence all of the supporting cast for OKC is coming back down to earth? with KD being the primary playmaker/facilitator, guys are getting shots they like. Ibaka especially. Westbrook mostly passes as the 2nd option after attacking the rim. Yea it's cool if he draws Ibaka's man over and gives him the ball in the paint, but Serge is obviously more effective in the PNR shooting jumpers. With KD, thats all he was getting. KD dictating the offense just makes it that much harder for a coach to gameplan. When he's sitting in the high post, guys are just crowding him and forcing bad 1 move shots. he needs to get the ball in the open space so he can cook....like he did the entire first half of the season

Durant needs to learn to play defense man

he's top 20 in defensive shares this season. He's like the only top 10-20 offensive player in the top 20 of defensive win shares. today he didn't play well against a pretty good offensive clippers team. but he plays good defense
