I was all down with tanking when Derrick got hurt and we traded Deng. We had a stretch where we were like 5 or 6 games under .500 and I thought that was gonna be it for the season. The the Bulls and coach Thibs started showing more effort and resiliency. Losing Derrick and Lu was tough, but this squad has focused up and started playing some good basketball. The tank talk has long been dead here in Chicago . I know we arent going to win a championship nor are we going to have a high draft pick, but it's fun watching this team compete night in and night out. DJ Augustin has been terrific and Joakim Noah is one of my favorite Bulls ever. I bet we win at least one playoff series, and regardless of who we play, the Bulls are going to be a tough out come playoff time.
And I'm still not ruling out a D. Rose return........

Heat star LeBron James sat out of practice Saturday to recover from a broken nose and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bulls.
James underwent surgery to repair the break on Friday but said he's still dealing with pain, soreness and headaches that might force him to miss only his second game of the season.

This Celts-Kings game is getting out of control. Cousins is on the verge of a meltdown.
Boogie post-game on Kris Humphries "He's a scrappy guy...that's the type of role he needs to stay in this league"
I'm not even mad because I'm pro tank and with this loss the Celtics passed the Kings in the race for ping pong balls, but Cousins was playing with a technical and 5 personal fouls when this happened and somehow stayed in the game.
So for those keeping score at home, cousins has beef with Mike Dunleavy Jr and Kris Humphries. What a baby

Nah it's kinda comical. If he comes back great. If not this team can still work a few teams in the playoffs. I mean teams like Detroit, Cleveland and New York TRYING to make the playoffs but can't. Bulls lose top two guys are in the 3 seed. Why not enjoy it ??

You forget to mention that the entire eastern conference aside from 2 teams, are an absolute joke. I would trade Drose ASAP and get something off his name alone. Now if he comes back and kills like he did before, I'll eat my words, but I just don't see that happening at all

He probably won't be the same. But you can see the bulls building a different type of team now. Losing boozer and deng now we can get some younger pieces.
EAst has been weak for many years. Always been 2 or 3 contenders and that's it. But Washington and Chicago can come back strong next year. I wish the rockets were in the east.
