I peeped someone in the Lakers thread saying that the Kings needed a new coach

very high expectations from w's fan and mgmt. joe lacob isnt playing gms. and has shown a willingness to spend trying to win. w's could be a first rd out this yr if they arent too careful. i know they are a little banged up, but if they underachieve (wcf or less) then mark jackson is definitely on the hot seat.
NT knows Malone is my guy along with Shaw and Thibs. My point is Golden State's playoff seed isn't the deciding factor in their '14 run. Let me specify, they're 15-12 on the road and can beat the Spurs, Clips, or Rockets in a playoff series.

The media comes up with a lot of laughable stories these days, especially when there's nothing else really going on. Like earlier this season when there were stories about Griffin getting traded for Melo.
Blake Griffin is making a strong case for best 4 in the league. LMA is seemingly one-dimensional as Dirk has faded from top 10 NBA status after the Mavs secured their title. Kevin Love doesn't play winning basketball in my opinion. Leaves much to be desired on the defensive end. Every year we wait for Minny to make a serious playoff run. Clips need to win two playoff series minimum though. The window is now.

and they have shown that they are beatable at home as well. they got a favorable matchup last yr vs the nuggets. clips, spurs, and esp rockets all play the w's very well.
btw, the w's is the team i follow

^^^Agreed on the Clips. With Doc coaching, Blake's development and CP still one of the top 5 players in the league, there really is no excuse for the Clips to not make it at least to the WCF.

Disagree completely.  All the tv commentators do is talk about what a great job he has done with the team.  They make it into the playoffs, there will be ZERO talk of Jackson on the hot seat and there shouldn't be any either. He has helped Curry out tremendously along with Green, Klay, and to a certain extent Harrison

"Only" 16-10 at home. Golden State has the type of youth, energy, belief from last year's run to make noise regardless of seed. I wouldn't want to draw OKC in the first round so that's my reasoning for saying to land 5 through 7.

Must play better on the road. Blake is flourishing without question. DeAndre Jordan has grown leaps and bounds. Dudley, Barnes, Redick. The Clips are deep and well-coached. Can offer a variety of looks and lineups. Have length and perimeter defense to check Durant and Steph.

everybody thought we'd fall off after Malone left but we still have about the same amount of wins at this time last year! I don't think we have played our best Ball this season

I did think Malone did a lot of coaching behind the scenes in Cleveland, GS, and NOLA that went overlooked or under appreciated. His work in Sacramento will deem how much credit he truly deserves moving forward.

I swear N.O. has been getting to host A LOT of major sporting events in the last 7-8 years.
Just a great city, plus it was to help build after Katrina which still has the area ****** up to an extent
True, but there have to be some NBA cities that have never hosted it. Would be good to spread the cheer

Btw, I'm curious whether there is still some rebuilding going on there or whether that's been long done.

that won't be until 2020 cause they are no where close to breaking ground in SF

Would be kind of cool for Timmy H and Mitch Richmond to get in together. All of Run-TMC would be HOFers. Always like that Golden State squad.

And Sarunas Marciulionis is in thanks to the international voting committee. He was on those teams.

Also why Ginobili, Yao, Vlade, Peja, etc will be HOFers.

Still don't get why people don't understand this

Dead @ the starters telling the kids to run because the brooklyn nets mascot was behind them :lol
