Flynn could've fulfilled his potential if he didn't get hurt or have to learn the triangle. I was high on him after that 6 overtime game against UConn.

Exactly. Some players have really high potential but just get drafted into an unfit environment. I wonder what kind of numbers he would have put up if he got drafted to the right situation.

yup, there are times were well run teams tank and get a player they want. but in most cases teams that draft top 5 are highly disfunctional which leads to a lot of these draft busts

im worried about embiid if he enters the draft and the bucks get the first pick

It wouldn't make sense for the Bucks to draft Embiid because they already got a lot of young front court depth. They're probably gonna pick Parker or Wiggins cause they need a threat at the wing position. OJ messed up for them.

Could move Sanders, Henson, or Ilyasova.

No pun but what's Daequan Cook up to?

Bucks should go for Exum

I used to follow Daequan Cook on Twitter. Consequently, he used to follow that PR broad that we ran off here. A little perturbed his career hasn't been exciting. I figured he'd be a good shooter off the bench for someone, but it seems like he hasn't gotten much burn everywhere he's been.

If I'm the Bucks, I go best player available unless I get a nice package right now for Sanders. In that case, I move Larry for ideally a guard and draft Embid.

If a team thinks really highly of Embiid then you take him regardless. Those other young bigs are solid but should not be enough to deter you from taking Embiid if you think he could be a franchise changer. Not to mention you could bring Embiid along really slow or trade a big for another need.

I personally don't know if I see Embiid as a franchise type center but I don't think it makes sense to draft based off team need or based off your current roster. You have to take the best player available in most cases. You could always do a twin towers scenario or play two wings together. If you already have a franchise point guard then I'd see why you wouldn't draft another point guard though.

Daequan "All Dae" Cook just signed with some team in Germany. He was one of my favs when he was here too, but Thabo broke his foot and ruined Cook's career when he took over for a starter and played better d and rebounded better than expected but his 3pt % dropped through the floor.

Daequan was pretty clutch on those pre big three Heat teams... thought he was gonna be in the league for a while

D. Thomas I felt could have been a great fit with the Spurs. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the league soon

David Lighty is in France as well. I really liked that team they had that lost to Florida. I tried to watch every televised game of theirs that year. Oden shooting free throws lefty :hat

I'm really happy Conley has developed like anticipated. Dude is solid on both ends and he's a leader. Would love for the Knicks to pick him up.

I remember I od'd on buying DVDs from MarchMadnessonDemand.com around that time. I've got like 30 on the shelf, from the Mich St. teams with Z-Bo, Pitino's Kentucky, etc.

I think we went with Hill because Steph Curry and a couple of other 1s were gone at that time. He's developed into a solid role player, but never got a chance in NY. Wasted pick as usual.

I think NY's draft board just got blasted when Rubio, Flynn, and Curry went the three picks before. At the time, all seemed like perfect fits for the Knicks and no one thought Minny would take two point guards.

SO CLOSE to having Curry or Rubio running a Da'ntoni offense.

Yep, Lighty and Thomas are teammates. Will Daniels on that squad too.

His point was illogical. Obviously, if a guy is exceptionally effective it doesn't matter how form looks. Blake's post game should never be compared to the effectiveness of Reggie Miller's ugly three point release because Blake's post game is unproven. Again dude is proving a lot of folks wrong, let him cook without making these outlandish comments.

:rollin you can't be serious. He never said Blake's post game is like Reggie Miller's 3 point shot. I'm amazed that you can't see what he was trying to say.

Portland finally coming back down to earth. Where do you guys see them finishing? I say 5th...maybe 6th.

He's definitely one of those types that likes to argue for no reason. I was hoping you wouldn't respond back to his clown *** lol

Edit: Random but Sullinger has been ballin lately! Been rooting for him since his college days so I'm happy to see him do well in the league

:lol ok, I thought I was tripping or something. Noted.

Dan Gilbert might as well just sign him to a lifetime contract
"We’re going to see Mike Brown succeed this year,'' Gilbert said. "I think he will be able to do good things in the next 30 games or so. I think this team is going to be able to do good things. They’re going to look at each other, look in the mirror, and they’re going to rally. We’re going to do everything we can to give them the air cover they need.''

Um, yeah. I was just saying that effectiveness >>> aesthetics and used Reggie Miller's jumper as an example. Did not say or even intend to imply that Blake's post game is on par with Miller's shot. But hey, if someone puts the effort into reading that in to my statement, knock yourself out.
