Even though they lost, Budenholzer is doing a hell of a job with the roster he's handling.

Yeah, people may hate that franchise or whatever...but he's doin' an admirable job in ATL.

I actually enjoy watching them.

Lakers are getting that #1 pick i just know it. it's too obvious. Their team is falling apart and its the most loaded draft in 10 years.

If there is anything the NBA should rig, its the draft. Best way to keep small market teams competitive. If i was Adam Silver i'd give the top 3 picks (no specific order) to....

1. Kings (new owner/city deserves it)
2. Twolves (it'll ensure that Klove most likely stays)
3. Bucks (worst team in the league)

The TWolves don't deserve to keep Kevin Love for the crap Kahn pulled to hold back money from Love to be able to give Rubio a max extension when the time came.

History of season record/odds of the #1 pick lotto winners, only the worst team have won the #1 pick four times.

As a fan of perennial cellar dweller, I have come to learn that the lottery is (for the most part) random and that the season record/odds have very little to do with the end results.

Man, Kings ain't even on there once and they are always so high in the lottery

Part of the reason why I'm so against tanking

Only the top 3 spots are lottery. All the rest is based on record.

So if you have the worst record, the worst you'll pick is fourth. That's if you don't hit on 64.3% chance of hitting the 1st 3 picks.

Say you finish with the 5th worst record. If 1-4 goes the way it is planned (based on record but in different order) you still will pick 5th. It's highly unlikely that 6-14 will get 1-3. But at worst you pick 8th. Because even if say #8 gets the 1st pick, #11 gets the second pic. That means 1,2, 3 is pretty much mathematically guaranteed the 3rd pick. Means 5th will draft 7th.

This

All I know is that the one year the Kings had the worst record in the league in the Blake Griffin draft, the worst possible outcome happened and we got the 4th pick. I learned a lot about the draft that day
