lamar never had it in him to make the most of his skillset, luckily for us phil was able to bring out the best of him which helped us get two chips

Lillard is always clutch as hell, how many gamewinners is that now?
This Raptors team could definitely make the second round imo. it'd be worth it

Yeah I'd rather have a top 5 pick.
:lol Of course, but that's not gonna happen at this point. No way they drop that low in the standings regardless of any move they make.

Ujiri is kind of trapped, I'm sure he secretly wanted the team to tank, but they're playing really well and the fanbase is energized. If he decided to trade away Lowry and/or Derozan at the deadline it would look really bad, and it would soil his own reputation somewhat.

It's tough because the Raptors still need that perennial All-Star/franchise player to add to their core, but that won't happen without a high draft pick. The treadmill struggle is real

That being said, for branding/marketing purposes this has been a great year for the Raptors, I don't think capping it off with some playoff success would be a bad thing in the eyes of most fans.

Never in his nba career was LO a superstar
not literally, but he was playing at a very high level for them.  17, 10, 4, 1.1 steals, .9 blocks

his best career statline was that year in Miami....and he played the point forward to perfection

blah blah blah blah...more blah....blah on top of that

I could careless....classless or not

follow him in that coffin while your at it too....when he goes

That man singlehandedly destroyed my favorite sport.....turn this into a circus.. (im so nostalgic....90's basketball is second to none)

You got everybody running around to make a MiamI heat 2.0....from Brooklyn to New York....to the lowly Detroit Pistons and Sacramento kings...smh

If this man is soooo great....Why couldn't he do it in Cleveland? Answer that....HE IS THE GREATEST EVER...so by that notion he should of accomplished it on his own and win in Cleveland

If he is sooo great...do it by yourself....You are the greatest man ever born on this planet to dribble a basketball right? is that not the words the youth utters....nowadays

DO IT BY YOURSELF...JUST YOU YES.....Do what iverson couldn't do...

But nah its always..."he needed help...he needs more help"

If that man can play any position on the court.....guard and shut down anyone....score from anywhere on the floor...than that man can single handedly win a chip by himself...

if you so great...and you do everything....the hell you need wade and bosh....miller, battier, chalmers and allens 3's...

When he wins its because of him and only him...when they lose...its because wade is old or bosh is ghost...

sure ya right

DUDE......OH..... MY.....GAWD!!! WHAT A MELT DOWN!!!
You have to be trolling... I CAN NOT BELIVE WHAT I JUST READ....WOW...JUST WOW!!!!

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Im done with you man. I cant believe you had anything to say about being a basketball fan...look at this post!!

He's mad because Lebron changed his little ol sport.....:rollin

all great teams have tons of bandwagon fans, there are old kobe fans that are now KD fans because its anti lebron. i feel the same way about bandwagon lakers fans as band wagon heat fans
When they were a losing team nobody was at the games really. Now after a few winning seasons there fans are so called great fans cause they always show.up. same thing with the warriors.

This is completely False about the Warriors! Look up the attendance numbers of last 7/8 years!

THIS. w's attendance have always been solid, even during the cohan era. the atmosphere has changed with the type of fans (more corportate and casual fans buying up the tickets)

but see thats my point, masai waited too long, he should have seen this coming, he should have seen this teams destiny when he was hired, he should have cleaned house and started a real rebuild.

but in stead we are 3rd in a horrible eastern conference, playoif success means nothing in the eastern conference

I guess i'm in the minority. I hate the fact that teams would rather dwell in the cellar than compete for a playoff spot. I understand the logic, but I would just rather have the best product I could possibly have on the floor.

Was thinking about how the Cavs can turn **** around.....

Trade Dion + 2015 pick for Klay Thompson
Trade Tristan + fillers for Taj Gibson

the best product possible for the raptors is having someone like wiggins on the team next year

if you have no chance at winning a championship you should not care about the playoffs

But who knows what you're going to get out of wiggins. He could be a bust. He could be a flat out stud. Like I said, I understand the notion and sentiment behind it, giving fans a renewed sense of belief of the team, but how many players come out of the Draft giving you a chance to go past the 2nd round? Like that hardly ever happens .

In my opinion, the best thing that teams like the Raptors can do is be the best they can be. Fans will be happy seeing their team in the playoffs rather than watching them tank for a prospect(s) that may or may not even pan out.

every raptors fan i know wants to tank for wiggins, no one cares about losing in the 1st/2nd round its meaningless. going to the playoffs is pointless this year and they get nothing for it, if they can get wiggins they have a chance of him growing into a franchise player and being in a better position than having to build around derosen.

75% of the reason Raptors fans want Wiggins is because he's from Canada. Even if he does turn out to be mediocre (wont be a bust), he'll still get a pass because once again he's from Canada.

even if he is mediocre, they will still have more talent/assets going forward if they get wiggins this year than if they lose in the 2nd round
