Sure he's getting overpaid.
Let's say Hill was half his salary, next year, they'd have $1mil in cap space, and the same assets allotted to them.
Also when Roy has a player option in 2015, he'll resign and even his salary at a max would leave the Pacers with $20+ million in cap space going into 2016-17. Even if they end up using all of that space throughout the years leading up to it, they'll have a deep team in that case.

It would be in the best interest of Lance's career to stay in Indy. Great coach, great team atmosphere, he could be part of something really special for a long time with the Pacers.

Indiana is in the early stages of a dynasty. If Lance and Granger stay put (probably gotta take pay cuts), Pacers will be dangerous for a while. Would like to see them sure up the 1 though. George Hill ain't the answer.
