Whats up with Kawhi Leonard? Lack of usage is whats up with Kawhi Leonard. Hes 28th among SFs in usage rate with guys like Danny Granger, Metta World Peace, and ANTHONY BENNETT above him. 28 mins a game, 9 shots a game, etc etc etc. Cant put up crazy numbers when you're not even getting the chance. Mind you I have no problem with this. I know how good the guy is, and rest is concern number one. Plus our bench is amazing.

I think people were expecting a Paul George-like leap after the playoffs last year. After his slow-ish start (from what I remember), he was kind of forgotten about. His team/system and unselfishness doesn't really let him step up for more production. He's not really getting to the line which is bad but his numbers are still very good. I wouldn't be surprised if he could put up an efficient 18-20 PPG with elite defense in a different role.

I was one of those people exepcting the leap and I totally agree with everything you just said. If he was on a different team it would be happening, but he plays on the Spurs. I'm glad to have him though
