Thats normal. Any core fan is very optimistic. Same goes with lakers fans about kobe.
I think both players might not repeat their prime performance. Kobe because is already 35 and he suffered a season ending injury.
Rose had a season ending injury that made him skip more than 1 season.
I dont know how serious his injury was conpared to mjs foot injury in his second nba season.
Bur some players come back stronger than they were.
But somehow i think rose might take longer to find his old self. Though there is still the bad luck of chance that he wont have the same explosivity from his past. Lets just hope that rose and kobe can play a good season with their team.

The question isn't if he'll regain his pre-injury explosiveness. The question is can he be better than he was before.

I say yes.
 
Rose is the most overated PG. Westbrook can do the same thing but doesn't get the credit as much as Rose gets.

Kyrie > DROSE Offensively.

Also Lillard > ROSE offensively.

The pre season doesn't mean much. Look at lebron, he did not go full speed yet and the heat are letting others playing more.
Rose is averaging 20 ppg so far which is ok but not what we saw in 2011 and 2012.
Its important that his knee is fully recovered and that he is willing to go full speed again.
Then there is a chance that he can be as strong as he was or even better.

Don't sleep on Noah's offense. Dude can score in some sneaky ways. I don't think he likes to be relied on that side of the ball though

yes, against the other teams 3rd team and dudes trying to make the team. Not like there's a chance that tactic will come back to haunt them though
 
Lol at Noah bring able to do what hibbert did against us. All that fake tough guy is good for is getting rebounds and talking ****. I'm still waiting for.him.to try it on metta or haslem or somebody of that nature but as you can see it.never happens that way

To the person who said LeBJ/Heat shut down Rose, that was a completely different team though. That swarm defense they'd put on Rose couldn't work now with Jimmy, Dunleavy, and Deng on the wings waiting.

Can't wait for that Bulls win Tuesday
