i think doc is bringing the monster out of cp3 this year.  that 40 pt preseason game was not normal

Troof.

His work ethic and competitiveness is on another level. He worked himself into the most prolific season a 34 year old has ever had. He's not going out like a *****.

I'm not betting against him.
Doesn;t mean anything since Lebron will win

:lol How old are you?

He's going to have a great, MVP-caliber year, but he's still going to pick-and-chose his big scoring nights. Being a pass 1st PG is just too ingrained in him. But personally, as a Clippers fan, I wish he would be aggressive offensively all the time. The Clippers very rarely lose when CP goes for 25+. But that's just not his nature.

If nothing else, I hope Doc is able to influence him in that respect and convinces him to be more aggressive when he needs to.

I think we're all just splitting hairs at this point.

Once you get past the holy trinity of LeBron, Durant and Paul, it's really a toss up of the next 5-8 players.
lulz paul is not even better than parker.

I <3 this thread.
i know right. paul had that great postseason and lead his team to the finals

every other member of the team including the ball boys let him down though

I've hated Chris Paul since Wake Forest and even I won't put that playoff elimination on him. His team went ghost.

Matt Barnes played well, but that's it. Everyone else who got heavy minutes was a no-show or worse. Billups was awful, Jordan was bad, Crawford got completely locked down by Tony Allen and Caron Butler was just out there. I'm giving Griffin a pass because he got hurt, but he didn't provide much help either. And Del Negro did a terrible job coaching in that series. He made no adjustments whatsoever until it was way too late.

People can saw what they want about making excuses for CP3, but facts are facts. If you watched that series, there's no reasonable basis for putting the loss on Paul.

no one is saying that its 100% on paul, but as the leader/best player on the team he takes responsibility for the loss. mo williams, jr smith, lamar odom, james harden have all choked in a playoff series but people still put the blame on melo/kobe/bron/KD. same should apply to CP3

Just heard on the radio that the gm's just hand off the surveys to someone else in the office to fill out.

So y'all probably should out so much into the survey...

I thought people knew this. I'm sure the majority of them are filled out by interns.

if the monkeys at the NY zoo came out with a NBA ranking we would still argue over it

The arguments are about ESPN's rankings, not the GM surveys. But even then, the people at ESPN just rank each player on a scale of 1-10 and then figure out who got the most points. It's not exactly a scientific process or anything.

do they ever come out with the exact scores?

They just mentioned that hes gonna end up starting in the Bill and Jalens NBA preview

If JR starts, that lineup will be "interesting," to say the least. :lol

That doesn't even begin to describe it :lol

This team is a meltdown waiting to happen.

i mean we ain't winning no championship for who knows how long, but meltdown? nah. hardly

we got characters and all that, but i'm pretty confident everyone on the team is serious about performing well

Voters only had the choice of a whole number from 0-10, and they were required to select a score for every player.
