If you play well....That's why his agent and him want a contract that guarantees 5 years. His production will more thanlikely go down as Bynum develops and as he gets older. This is his time to cash in.

He's also a idiot because in a 4 year contract at $9 million per season he would be making more than he would on a 5 year deal if he signswith the Heat. Heck even the 3 year $10 million per season contract Dr. Buss offered him he would have a better shot at making more money in the long runbecause at age 33 the Lakers or another team would be willing to give at least a another 3 year deal after that contract is up. Also on that 3 year contractwith the 4th being a team option the Lakers offered him a buy out where he would get $3 million.
