12/2014 Air Jordan 11 Retro - White/Black-Legend Blue - 378037-117 NO GM TALK ALLOWED!

This ticket stuff is funny. Dudes really hitting up like 20 stores :lol

Serious question tho? How long have dudes been "sneakerheads"?

There's NO WAY anybody who been in the sneaker game more than 5-10 years don't got at least one connect "on the inside" for a release like this. I refuse to believe it.

I'm not even in the game like that anymore and it took me ONE phone call to the dude who runs the raffle at a (not to be named) sneaker chain.

How do you dudes not have ANY connects for a release like this. That ticket stuff is weird because I know for a fact that MAD raffles are fixed.
been in since 08 my connect in the city got shut down for handing out pairs early. Been on the hunt since a few years it's not that easy

In Toronto, a mall in my area (Scarborough Town Centre). Apparently most FL and Champs started raffles today for both Columbias and the Pantone pack.
The raffles are more consistent now compared to the Black Infrared 6s (where one store would have it 2 weeks before RD, versus another branch the week of release...).

3 of the HoH in my area gave out guaranteed tickets Sunday morning; the rest raffling them today and tomorrow.  FNL today only (with stores running out of tickets, which I think was allocated planning by FNL corporation).  FA & Champs today & tomorrow.  Only one with variance was one Champs that did GS sizes today, and Men's tomorrow.

Raffle Tickets that you can't even wear

The amount of effort some people are putting in just to have a chance at getting this shoe is truly baffling.  Like am I missing something here?  Buying sneakers should NOT be stressful you should be able to get $200 shoes without having to wait hours in line to have a chance at getting them.

I'm just in shock how early raffles started here. While its probably normal in the states here in Canada this is all new. Only last year did raffles really become a regular thing here, and even then they were done the day before a drop.

like most of the people who'd be willing to do that care that it's an open carry state. Most of them probably aren't legally allowed to carry a weapon
lord knows I'm not a violent person and I'm not afraid either but people these days don't fight fair...iI'm not going to lose my life over a shoe...even though I have my gun license you can't have it in the mall but I still do

hey all, this will be my first raffle (in Australia) so I have a few noob questions if you don't mind:

1. Why is there a rush to get the tickets? I thought priority didn't matter, everyone will get a ticket, it's just a matter of whether your ticket is drawn?

2. Is there any way to increase your chances? Like, if a friend got a ticket as well and gave it to you? Or do they check your ID when you're about to purchase it?

3. Will you have better chances at a smaller less popular store? This was my original thought, but then I figure smaller stores will get less pairs, so chances remain the same?

1. Depends on the type of ticket

Guaranteed Tickets have priority and a rush to be the first in line

Raffle tickets, It's just good to get them before the store closes or they run out in some cases

2.The more the better your chances, BUT! some raffles are fixed, Sliding the person overseeing the raffle a 20 will increase your chances DRASTICALLY, They check your ID So if your friends and family bring their ID they can  get tickets for you in the size you want

3. Chances remain the same I'm sure someone else had the same thought. People are going to all extremes to get these 11s
