12/2014 Air Jordan 11 Retro - White/Black-Legend Blue - 378037-117 NO GM TALK ALLOWED!

So what is the deal with the $200 price point?  Just inflation?  Because that is too early for the '15 remastered line isn't it?  Thats a significant jump if we are going to see another 10% when remastered XI's start hitting...

Every holiday XI has a higher price than the year before.

Not to be that guy, but the Cool Grays were the same price as the Space Jams.

The Gammas were the same price as the Playoffs too weren't they?

The real answer to that question will always be the same though; as long as Nike has people who feel like they "need" pairs, they can charge whatever they want.

You are correct on both your first statements.  So this is more than the $10 typical jump we have seen every two years, hence my curiosity.

Correct. $185 for Playoff and Gamma. Concords were $180. Don't remember Space Jam price as I don't have the box, and my cool grey price tab is gone.

My mistake but the last few years saw price increases. This increase wasn't unexpected esp when nike knows they will sell out regardless :)

you do know that not everything next year is remastered right...? prices are going up regardless as they have been every year.

Thought it was confirmed that everything would be starting spring 2015. Can't see them doing a $200 retro 4 and then a $180 a couple months later

That wouldn't make sense. The remaster involves using a new mold. Doubt they'd be using multiple molds for the same model. Zyzz is saying not every model will see the new molds immediately. Not sure of that's true or not but I agree with him that prices are going up regardless.

Thats correct.  All the interviews point to all the releases next year being remastered.
What are the first models that we’ll see this remastered approach with, and why were those models chosen?
DS: The main models for the season will be around 7s, 4,s and 10s. That’s the way that Jeff planned the line, and that’s what we ended up doing. But everything that comes into the line from that moment forward will be in that remastered sense

i shutter to think these retros would go up in price any higher... remastered molds or not. it's not like they have to develop new manufacturing machines to weave them flyknit or the new AJ XX9 flyweave. all these retros are made using old techs. i just can't wrap my mind around the fact that they can make the XX8 or Melos with new stuff and actual high end carbon fiber and sell for $150-165 and they have the audacity to sell old tech shoes with foams and cheap leather for more.

I REEEEAALLLYY hope these Legend Blue = playoff XI as far as numbers go. I want like 4-5 restocks on these just like they did with those. So then I can laugh when I hear about "sneakerheads" saying they won't wear them anymore because everybody in GaP America has em.

Well, 150 after tax, not with it.  Could be that I ordered them and it was a mom and pop.

Bred numbers would be good, if not then Gamma numbers would be good as well. Didn't have as many restocks, but on release day I managed to cop two pairs (One for me and one for a friend but still, that's two pairs :smokin ) Sadly these Legend's are gonna have far more hype than either of those. Hopefully Finish Line comes through with the Draft again.
