Bro you are putting way to much time and effort into caring about how much a shoe recreated the original. It's. A. SHOE. I am a sneakerhead because I like having a variety of kicks and not just hot, trendy, beast kicks. I don't need a shoe to be recreated the same way to hold on to some sort of nostalgia the original model.

You "purists" are just as bad hypebeasts. Y'all are yin to the others yang. Do I need those no. Will I buy? Probably. It's a nice white and blue shoe to add to my collection. Plain and simple.

Not at all man. As far as time and effort goes it literally took me a matter of seconds to form and voice my opinion while on the other hand you'll be camping or waking up early to go drop 220 on these. Close to 5 if u want 2. My money is staying in pocket. So who's the one really putting too much time and effort into this?

never had a chance to pick up the OG or the 2001, so these will do just fine. that's if i can get my hands on a pair.

as far as these don't look like OG etc etc. all true, but it is what it is. none of the retros will ever be as good as the OGs. just buy what you like.

we don't even know if the ones in the photos are actual authentic release shoes anyway.

exactly. we get so much shoe-a-cide talk in here for unconfirmed photos..... remember dude posted a pair of fakes with the white/pink tag on the tongue and people were going nuts? its like instead of reserving judgment or listening to details, they just jump off the shoe cliff.

Fixed. I didn't say I wasn't getting them. I will get them I just don't like the way the early pics of the soles are. And I know they are probably going to fix the sole. I need a wearable pair so these will be got.

I personally think they're making money on the front and back end. They sell the "grey market" pairs, because face it, they're not going to destroy the ones that were defective, despite what they tell us. And they make the money on the actual "legit" pairs that we see on RD. Idk, that's just how I feel on it. 

yeah with the way they dont seem to care about it that makes sense, heck even if they sell them for pennies on the dollar they would still make out like bandits but knowing greedy JB they give pennies on the dollar instead of getting them.

I'm all for the "remastered" B.S. and I'm sure everybody has thought this, but that price increase is only going to raise the price even higher for resellers.

There is no way it will turn resellers away from the game and I don't believe the price increase is justified. Unfortunately as somebody who has bought from a reseller for above retail the cycle will only continue. The price increase hasa been about how much I max myself at for paying a reseller, no more than 20$ over a release price and I have had some decent deals through some connections but damn this is gonna be a crazy release. Like the posts above, people will find themselves doing a 180 the week of release. Such a shame that a lot of the shoe game comes down to paying resellers and getting lucky in raffles.
