Im from NYC as well and this is my preference. More people play with 2s now though. 1s and 2s is silly because 2s are too valuable relative to 1s.

I don’t even know how to play 21 for real. It’s always and will forever be 50, for me.
The times I been outside Baltimore and hooping and stumbled upon playing 21…I just made up numbers and ****.
50 is a real man’s pickup basketball game.
