If City and Pool both win their European tournaments, then does only the top 2 EPL team get a CL pot for next yr?
They said we didn't have a chance to top the group with Juve in it, they said we didn't have a chance in the quarters, they say we don't have a chance in the semis...lets hope this luck continues then.
I'm confused, cause I know when Chelsea won it, they finished 6th in the epl so it knocked out Spurs who finished 4th that seasonNo, I think the EPL would have 6 teams in at that point.

Yea but this time it's different, it's Real Madrid - like ya'll really don't have a shot Ya'll were some deer in headlights when you played Barca last year, believe it will be just as intimidating with Real. Juve and PSG don't have that type of "effect".
But who knows, I'll gladly take the quotes and gifs and eat my own words. Anything can happen in football, Chelsea won the CL in 2012 and they weren't the best team - but this is the semi's, two matches, I just don't see it happening. If it was one game, yea sure. Plus you know, Real playing at the Emptihad, I don't see the fans bringing lifting City like the Wolfsburg fans did
But screenshot me anyways
Chelsea weren't really a underdog against Barca that yr IMO. I know I sound crazy but Barca is the one club that I would want Chelsea to face in the knockout stages. The Chelsea teams of 02-15 were always too physical for Barca. That's why they needed they need Uefa to make sure they advanced in 09Yea but this time it's different, it's Real Madrid - like ya'll really don't have a shot Ya'll were some deer in headlights when you played Barca last year, believe me, it will be just as intimidating with Real. Our fans did a great job lifting the team in the return leg against PSG at the Etihad so i don't think that will be a factor. Are you forgetting how Chelsea had to get through Barcelona that year? Pretty sure they had to play two matches.
That "affect" comment is laughable, City have players at the same caliber as Real Madrid. Their manager used to coach there as well. It took a Ronaldo performance for the ages for them to get through Wolfsburg, if Wolfsburg wasn't starstruck then Manchester City sure as hell won't be.
But Barca dominated both matches and it took a miracle for them not to score a couple goals to knock Chelsea out. I don't know if there's some place where you can still look up chances or shots on goal for those matches but Barca definitely had lots more than Chelsea.Chelsea weren't really a underdog against Barca that yr IMO. Chelsea new that they weren't gonna beat Barca buy out passing them. They also knew that Peps Barca team only played 1 style of football regardless ifit was working or not. If you watched that match again, yuou can see that Chelsea were basically allowing Barca to shot from distance or to attempt corners. They knew Barca wanted to play direct and they are to short/weak to try to play the ball in the air against Chelsea. As much as Barca "dominated" they lost the first leg 1-0, and lost tied second leg 2-2 against 10men even after being awarded a pk. Without Uefa refs they couldn't pull thughBut Barca dominated both matches and it took a miracle for them not to score a couple goals to knock Chelsea out. lets npt forget one thing, aside from when they won La Decima, Real have a history of screwing it up around in the knockout stages against lower teamsI could see Jesus Navas or Raheem Sterling asking Ronaldo for a selfie halftime any day bruh, you couldn't?
That's besides the point tho, of course City have world class players. But as a team from top to bottom, they lack experience. They've been shellshocked and choked just as recently as last year, so why would I give City the b benefit of the doubt? - maybe in a couple years, yea sure. But that effect and experience is real in the semi's man.

I'm not saying Chelsea shouldn't have won or that the match didn't somewhat go according to their plan. But in my memory Barca created a lot of good chances they didn't take and all in all performed as well (some might even argue better) as Chelsea. To my delight, Chelsea basically did the same thing in the final against Bayern.Chelsea new that they weren't gonna beat Barca buy out passing them. I think this would be a great time for psk to chime in.
Villarreal are my "underdog team" I like to root for (and have been doing FIFA manager modes with since 2008 ) but I don't catch them often. They hung with Barca recently though and I believe with Atleti as well, drawing with both. They have the second best defense in la liga, with Bruno running it defensively in the midfield. So don't think think this is a la liga side with just a lot of flair that Klopp can counter attack against once they have lapses in possession game. I wouldn't say either side is a favorite though, since 'Pool is talented, knocked out BVB, and has the Klopp factor. If I had to pick one team it would be Villarreal though. But 'Pool has players that can bring individual brilliance imo and get them over.
