We're really gunna compare relegation zone teams of respective leagues in hypothetical scenarios to determine which league is better

How about the top level in the CL

the 2nd tier in Europa

The only way it seems like La Liga teams are getting bounced from these tourneys is when they play each other and 1 inevitably has to go

Dudes also act like this wasn't historic for Madrid and it's a normal result

Also, a lot of bottom teams come to actually play when they set foot in the Bernabeu and Camp Nou, which makes the game more open, and leaves them more susceptible for an *** whooping.

And as for rooting for Bale, why would Madrid fans not want to root for a player that had 100 Ms dropped for his transfer? We hope he has more performances like he had today, just in the CL and against the top teams.
That's something many people are wondering, since Bale has been booed and jeered various times by his own "fans".
The Bernabeu has some of the most difficult to please fans in the world. The Knicks have sucked for an eternity and when they play like trash and heartlessly they get booed deservedly too. Doesn't make the fans any less of die hards.

These aren't children that you give nonstop positive reenforcement too. They're grown *** men that people pay hard-earned money for the ridiculous salaries of these players and take their families to see their heroes and be entertained by. And people know that he's capable of beasting. So when he's throwing off the flow of the team and doing something like this then he deserves to hear it. (I know almost everyone on real sucked in that match but its just an example.)

Between the 60th-90th minute, Gareth Bale completed just TWO passes. Went AWOL. #ElClasico

Hulk man, wasting these prime years in Russia...:{

I always thought he was Chelsea bound on Porto, he's the perfect foreigner to actually adapt to the EPL quickly. Miss him

He's back! Godspeed young man!

Looking forward to seeing more of this during his debut year for Bayern.

Thiago even helped out his fellow youngin from catching an earful from the Dortmund faithful during warm ups.

MLS coach for Colorado Pablo Mastroeni might have the best mustache in football right now. That thing is big pimpin'!

So basically, when a player has a bad game or a dip in form, he's boo'd and jeered? Because the fans spend their hard earned money to go watch their heros?
That's ridiculous. Madrid fans were disgusting, as are any fan who decides to boo their own team with the slightest dip in form (see United under the Moyes era), it's simply unnecessary and tacky. To make it worse, Madrid are still in the race to win the CL and La Liga. People are expecting the players to never EVER have a bad day on the field?

As for players "ridiculous" salaries, I don't think they're ridiculous for one second. The players are what make the game. The game is watched by hundreds of millions of people in which billions of pounds or dollars are pumped into the game (hell, the new EPL TV deal is something like 5b pounds). If they're the basis for the entertainment that people enjoy, why shouldn't they be paid a lot of money? If you wrote a book that hundreds of millions of people wanted to read and enjoy, why shouldn't you be paid millions for it?

That's beyond sad but not surprising in Italy. Place is a cesspool of ignorant people. Of all the places I traveled to throughout Europe in the 90s, Italy was the absolute worst people wise by a wide margin.

Edit - You don't know how many times I randomly heard, "Hey, hey Chinese boy" in broken English with a heavy Italian & also have people pulling on the outside of their eyes to stretch them out. :{ :lol

Meanwhile, Russia still making preparations for the 2018 WC... The footy fans are ready...

Fun filled day between Moscow and Tula supporters. :{

It's shameful to see that type of stuff going on in 2015,especially towards freaking kids but unfortunately I can't say that I'm that surprised with it coming from Italy :{.

I wouldnt be caught dead at the 2018 WC even with the means :lol :x. Hell I'd much rather visit the Qatar WC than possibly having to deal with legions of extremist fans.

Great pictures, Ice. That would be really nice to live in Europe so I can attend many football games.

That sucks about AC Milan's Under-10 team. It's good to see AC Milan fixing this horrible issue.

How really good is Paulo Dybala?

I might just have to catch my first MLS game if Ibra comes. I also read that Orlando City is offering Chicha a deal...8o

Hope it's legit, looks dope.

Want to know what i never understood about Man United - the crest. I don't understand how a team that is historically red/white/black uses that piss yellow on the crest. It always looked odd to me. There was a photoshop couple years back from this artist who re-did the United logo and made it red/white/black, was sooo dope. I just don't get it tho, always been a peeve of mine. They'll never change it tho because they won so much during Fergie's time.

I think it was Rodg & Davo on Men In Blazers who were kinda joking about how good a friend Juan Mata must be. They were creating scenarios on how good a friend Mata would be like showing up out of the blue at your front door after your girlfriend just broke up with you to take you out 7 have a good time. :lol I bet he is like that.

He volunteered to help celebrate a long time United employee's 15 year anniversary.

I actually read his blog from time to time after hearing the jokes about him being such a good dude... Here's his recent post.

Hi everyone,

I’m writing to you after a weekend full of good feelings. As you know, the Premier League, and all the European leagues, resumed after the international break and I was eager to play again after the good vibes we had in Anfield. It was on Saturday, and it was a great day in Old Trafford. The team performed at a very high level, we fought from the very first minute to win the game and we were able to score in decisive moments to make things difficult for Aston Villa. We tried to use both wings and circulate the ball fast, and actually that’s how we scored. Three great goals I’d say. Wayne’s goal was spectacular, really nice to watch; not many players can score a goal like that. And two more goals from Ander. I think this is the first time he scores twice in a game and I’m very happy for him! The truth is he deserves it. He is a genius on and off the pitch and I know how happy he was after the game. The team is improving, this is our fifth consecutive win in the Premiership and we want to keep this streak. Winning the derby against City the next Sunday could be very important for the battle in the #top4. A derby is always special and we must be careful with City’s attacking players, because they can win the game in an isolated play.

In Spain things are also very exciting in the top four. First it came Atletico’s win, followed by Real Madrid’s 9-1 with five goals from Cristiano Ronaldo. Valencia drew against a good Villarreal and lastly Barcelona beat Celta with a goal from Mathieu, my former team-mate in Valencia. Starting on Tuesday we have a new week in la Liga’s calendar with good games on schedule, so things will remain very exciting both on top and bottom of the table.

When I went back home from Old Trafford I could watch some football on TV. I want to highlight the names of Thiago Alcantara, superb footballer and friend, who is back to a football pitch after a long and tricky injury, and David Barral for his hat-trick with Levante. I also wish Iker Muniain a speedy recovery, I hope his injury is not as serious as it seemed. Cheer up, crack! Of course, talking about great moments of the weekend, Charlie Adam’s goal was incredible. It’s so difficult to score from that far, even more to a goalkeeper like Courtois. It reminded me of Rooney’s goal at West Ham last season, or another one from Beckham a few years ago against Wimbledon. What is your favourite goal from long range?

Lastly, I hope you have had a happy Easter. My birthday is coming and I have a surprise for you!

Have a nice week. Hugs!

Juan

PS: I would like to send all my support to the colleagues in Fenerbahce for the atrocity they have been through. It is unbelievable that such things can happen in the world, and in sports…

Mata is that dude :hat, class act. I'm wondering about that birthday surprise 8o
