Varane with an impressive debut, dominated in the air and calmly handled pressure when things broke down at the back. Also got an assist

He shouldn't be benched. He's been the most consistent attacker on the team thus far.

10 g+a in his last 11 matches in the league, yea been as consistent as anyone in the team.

Happy to see him flourishing though, might get the club record for most goals by a teen if he keeps up this form

That maguire x varane pairing looked lethal. Awb did well in defense too especially with that gol making save on the line. Im just wondering if he will ever improve going foward and bring in dime passes. Shaw was ok. But once them counters came in i was in ruh roh when it was only varane and maguire. Varane held his own well. I hope this game shows we need a good defensive mid before transfer closes.
