I think Wenger's time had passed. Emery was the worst choice to replace him though and now Freddie has to try and salvage a team with no identity and no self confidence.

The appointment of a new manager has to come with defender purchases in January or else the same up and down results will continue even with a new manager imo. I do think we need to bring in a manager now regardless but I think it's a myth that it would suddenly fix our backline

Rodrygo with Benz up top can be interesting. Rodrygo has already become our second top scorer and is excellent at moving off the ball, and Benz is elite at linking up and finding players. Let’s see if Isco’s match against PSG was a fluke or he’s really byke.
