Gg spurs, we kept it even in the first half but in the second totnum were much more organized and efficient moving the ball around. Our passing was really **** today

Laca with 2 prime opportunities :smh:
didn't deserve anything anyways
you should be shaking your head at your terrible midfield and defense
spurs missed 4 open shots from within 10 yards

it was all good a week ago
yall had yall chest out against everton

is it still a win win situation with the alexis trade?

Great game of football. Spurs dominated the second half and didnt' take their chances. It could've been ugly. We still had an opportunity to get something at the end and didn't come through. GG spurs fans. See you next year.

Giroud isn't walking through those doors late in games to save them anymore...

Was just thinking.. we really sold giroud and still have trash *** welbeck.. I know it was part of the Obama deal but still..

Spurs does not want to sell Harry Kane. Harry Kane does not have a release clause. Harry Kane’s transfer fee will be more than £200m.

Ability =/= transfer fee. Bale’s transfer fee was higher than Ronaldo’s. Coutinho’s transfer fee was higher than Bale’s. The selling club and the market determine the transfer fee. Levy is getting no less than £200m or Harry isn’t going anywhere.

If Neymar didn’t have a release clause and wanted out, Barca would have asked for more than £200m imo. I think Messi’s release clause is £350m and Ronaldo’s is £500m. Neymar is younger and the clear heir to the thrown. With no release clause they could have easily asked for another 100 ms. They undervalued/didn’t think anyone would come with that bag.

Dortmund didn't want to sell a prime Reus either. He ended up rotting at dortmund.

No transfer clause =/= higher transfer fee. By this logic, that means every high profile player to be sold after Neymar would cost more than Neymar if we're basing this on "they have no transfer clause". Coutinho didn't have a clause either, he didn't go for $200m+

Kane is nowhere near as big of a global superstar as Neymar is. Neymar is the face of Brazilian football. He's the captain of the Brazilian National team. He's won the Champions league, multiple league titles, domestic cups, etc.

What has harry Kane done in comparison to justify costing more than Neymars release clause? What reason beyond his ability on the pitch would warrant him costing more than Neymar? Pogba was worth his price tag because of the marketing value he brought United. Paris will make more returns on Neymar off the pitch than they payed for him to get to the team. Hell, even Coutinho to Barca adds marketing value. What the heck will Harry Kane do for another team if he ain't putting the ball in the back the net? There isn't any non English team thats about to drop that much on Harry Kane. Not Even Real Madrid. Madrid would rather wait and get Neymar from PSG than spend that on Kane.

Spurs ask for $300m+ for Kane and they'll end up stuck with him :lol

Why would you spend all that on Kane when you still have Griezmann, Dybala, Icardi, etc available? There is literally no other player on Neymar's level not named Messi/Ronaldo.

If Kane wanted to leave spurs he could just let his contract run out. There are other options available in that time a team could pick up to fill that void until he becomes available. When Neymar becomes available, you don't wait. You just cave in and pay the 220m.

Spurs ask for $300m+ for Kane and they'll end up stuck with him

That’s the point

You don’t rate Kane, cool. But you can’t tell me that man isn’t the definition of a galactico signing. White, English and really good at football. He’s very marketable, the same as Bale.

Wenger needs to figure a way to start Laca and Pierre. 4-4-2 diamond might work.
