Citeh and 'Pool have all-world attacks for sure but I don't know if defending has ever been one of the main draws of the Prem . Physical playing style sure but there's still been a bunch of high scoring teams in the past

The main league I can think of where there's been a real emphasis on defending traditionally is Serie A but even that's been changing recently

To expound on my Arsenal post from after the NLD, Alban Lafont is a name I'm seeing circulated in our thread recently and rightfully so. Keeper is a need for Gunners. Cech is 35 and Ospina isn't a true #1. If LFC were priced out for Alisson, it's unlikely Arsenal will pony up for his services. Which brings us to Lafont. He was the youngest-ever GK in Ligue 1 history and since debuting in '15, he's been a regular starting fixture for Toulouse. For whatever reason, "Gigio" Donnarumma receives more of the global attention and exposure. Lafont has prototypical height and is an imposing figure in net. He's already got around 25 clean sheets in league play. Lafont has honestly outgrown his current club and is ready for a move with new challenges, whether that be with Gunners or otherwise. With Lloris and Mandanda aging, Lafont and Areola will both have bright opportunities to factor for country in Euro 2020.
Wenger need to go all in on the kid IMMEDIATELY. What ever it costs it's worth it. He's ready and wants to join.

I could've sworn Cech was pushing 40 that's how washed he looks.

I'll also gladly take Martial at Arsenal to replace Welbeck.

Ryan Sessegnon has scored again today. That’s 8 in 2018, only Kun has scored more in the top 4 divisions this calendar year. Think he’ll end up doing a Gareth.

Ronaldo still washed?

:nerd: this is the most speed we've had in a long time. this is the exact lineup i think everyone has been waiting to see.
i wish we would rest pique and let vermalean or yerry get some burn though

Once again, thanks a lot guys. The support is much appreciated

@champcruthik We certainly need a replacement for Cech. I can see Arsenal going after Lafont and Timo Horn. I really havent seen enough of Farinez. But your post paints a good picture. I feel like Liverpool have Alisson in the bag. Oblak would be amazing but that seems unrealistic

GK is one of the many positions that Arsenal needs to address this summer. We need a DM, CB (a left footed CB for sure. Word is that Mislintat suggested that Wenger go after Abdou Diallo. I would take him over Chambers in a heartbeat.) DM and a winger. I think later on I'll put together a list of who I think we should buy
