not sure why that handball took so long to figure out
did we really need a 5+ minute stoppage to figure that out?

I hate these handball rules, you can't run properly with your arms tucked. 100% penalty under the rules but it's just silly.

Phew that TAA shot almost got past that Ederson save and in front of Jota for a tap in

Good recovery from their no.1

you didnt think that was a handball?
he would've just stopped that cross with his arm and took over possession

Well under these rules it is.
He was in the process of pulling his arm away. What is he supposed to do there? Run with his arms tucked?
If you run, you're supposed to swing your arms to some extent. Otherwise you're handicapping your mobility and running unnaturally.

Before VAR that wouldn’t have been a penalty. PKs in the PL were hard to get since the refs went by the “hand in an unnatural position” Rule

Also why was the ref reviewing the play? Once it’s sent up to VAR does he not have any control of the outcome anymore?
They allowing refs to look at the screen more this season and be more involved in the review after complaints last year of the head ref never looking in any matches at incidents they should’ve look at themselves again

Who has the final decision then?
