Against France? Not really. To be honest I think we might stumble against Italy, assuming we beat Portugal.
I think we had a much better shot at beating France in the WC than we do against them now. Lukaku and De Bruyne are in better form , especially Lukaku, but our defense is worse and Eden Hazard is borderline awful.

I do have faith that we can give all our potential opponents a tough game but I really don't see us beating France after we couldn't do it in the WC. Our performances so far have been lackluster, sure we've beaten our opponents but we've yet to show our real potential.

Tbf Sid Lowe explained the whole Ramos United story on his podcast recently comparing it to his negotiations this time. He said Ramos really was dead set on leaving For United but Flo refused. Said they had a heated argument that lasted for like 4 hours. And then flo finally broke down and gave him a contract he couldn’t refuse. But Ramos wasn’t actually using United. He really wanted the move.
