I gotta say this before the day is over, Bernardeschi played his *** off today. Dude was amazing. I was skeptical when I saw him instead of Dybala in the starting XI, but he proved his worth today.

Yep he was everywhere. I wish Jorginho could do what Pjanic does for Juve, the dude is absolutely elegant on the ball

This is one of those perfect times to place a bet on Juve winning the CL, their odds will never be this low for rest of the tournament.

Did anyone take my advice before the game started? Anyone?

At 3:30 they had 18-1 odds... great value

Now they’re back to 4-1 odds again.

QUIK coming thru with the quickness. You know he’s still watching and paying attention

champcruthik champcruthik you called it, I think you were the first one to say Juve and Ronaldo would get it done
Sim, parceiro. Com certeza.

Had faith in Ronnie the whole way. He always goes 'sicko mode' in CL. That's his tournament, man. I knew that "Cholo" celebration wouldn't go over well in the Juve dressing room. Juventus weren't invincible on the flanks but Simeone opted not to really attack or exploit the wide areas. Alex Sandro suspended and De Sciglio hurt, Atleti never got to take advantage of Spinazzola. A player coming back from serious ACL surgery and some view more as a LM or LWB than traditional LB.

I've got Juve vs. MU in the final at Wanda. Juventus will avenge that late comeback L in Turin from group stage. Also have City reaching the semis, obviously depends how the draw plays out after today's results. LFC vs. Bayern is really hard to read but I'm leaning 2-1 Liverpool. You figure Kovac can't implement the same strategy he brilliantly utilized at Allianz. What does he have in the bag against Klopp? I've been trolling jape jape but Barca gets it done, 3-1 at Camp Nou. I think Lyon will threaten in the wide areas but lack end product to clinically put away FCB.

Nobody is going to convince me he's more talented than Dybala or Douglas Costa, but Bernardeschi put in a hell of a shift for Allegri. His byke attempt in the first half wasn't that far off. Drew the penalty on Correa with a nice driving run. Picked up another foul after that on Correa with his dribbling. And Bernardeschi's only 25 years old, even though he looks 32 on the pitch.

Edit:
Your guy Moise Kean almost became a legend in Turin had he finished that chance after coming on. Scuffed his shot just wide of Oblak's net. Good chance though when both sides were still level on aggregate at two home goals apiece.

Kudos to Allegri for going for it within the 90. Didn't sit back and wait for ET or pens. Very proactive and aggressive with his subs. Whereas "Cholo" most certainly got it wrong with Correa, although Vitolo showed flashes dribbling down the left channel when Emre Can was deputizing at RB.

Cancelo had a dirty run around the 65th minute. Straight filthy. 10 minutes later, when he was flipped to LB with Spinazzola off, began cramping and/or clutching at his leg but gutted out the remaining time.

Tadic and Neres continued their run of good form in league play this weekend, each scoring a brace in a 4-0 win. Ajax are still behind leaders PSV by 5 points, but they do have a game in hand.

By the way David has two sisters and one of them look good as hell :nerd:

Yeah, she sure do. Paulista :emoji_fire:

My sister-in-law rocks with 'O Clube da Fe.' Her fam will never forget that goal Neres scored back in '16 to help SPFC thrash Corinthians.

It seems I was too hard on Tadic. When someone asked about his EPL flop at Southampton, people in here were ready to mention managerial changes and tactical differences. Truly never saw a performance in him like the one we got at the Bernabeu. That 360-degree spin Tadic hit on Casemiro. Straight craque.

What a game yesterday from CR7. I don't even have words.
But my guy Bernardeschi...the kid is fearless. Having seen him a few times in league games he can definitely be wasteful on the ball but with that comes his tenacity to go forward. And he is a thoroughbred for sure, what an athlete. I can't say enough about him. And i had 0 knowledge of Leonadro Spinazzola but dude looked strong as hell out there on the left. Thought Cancelo brought an edge to the team that they needed too. The only real let down for me was Mandzukic. Thought he could have done way better with hold up play and he had a chance at the far post that he tried to head...and it was a header into his own thigh....looked like he could have just tried to volley it.

I do agree with everyone though that Atleti got it ALL wrong. I thought they would sit back and try to counter. All they needed was 1 goal. But they very rarely even bothered to push forward but still left multiple players up top they were way too spread out.

When City have good finishing games it can be scary. Great game from Sane (from the highlights i saw)

6-3 at work shouldn't hit too bad of traffic il be home at 345 to watch steve nash fill me in on whats going to happen

I think barca gets it done...interested in the Pool vs Bayern match. That is a toss up to me...but would pick Pool due to their defense
