What a half from Ajax, they've legit been the better team so far over both legs. If only they were able to keep this core together for a few years...

Barca snapping up Frenkie relatively early is proving to have been smart business cause his price would be going up 10-20m after this tie

De Light and Frenkie bossing it so far, Tadic looks reborn, and the Neves kid has impressed. Somebody gonna drop the bag for De Light this summer.
Hate to see this Ajax team get broken up but it's only inevitable.

Ajax getting raided this summer. Major clubs coming for Amsterdam like Ragnar Lothbrok. FdJ already committed to Barca. Other teams will throw the bag at MdL, Tagliafico, Ziyech and Neres. The latter-most player I can see staying at the Dutch capital because ten Hag still doesn't start the Brazuca every match in Eredivisie.

Thought FdJ was headed to Paris and would have liked to see him there, but bring it on if he has to be an 'enemy.' I'll never shy away from top-flight competition. I want RM playing Barca in Clasicos with both sides at full strength.

We did very well to prevent Dortmund from getting a goal in that half. The first 30 minutes were complete domination by Dortmund.
Lloris hasn't put a foot wrong yet and Dortmund gave him plenty of work to do. Vertonghen bailed us out with 2 great blocks too.

the best part of this match is that there will be NO Scumbag Ramos pulling off his theatrics :lol

That went as poorly as could have gone

I been telling y'all about Casemiro
Casemiro looked active and lively for a whole five minutes to start the match. He's supposed to be our enforcer and the ultimate disrupter, yet we're seeing none of that. Ziyech, Tadic, Neres and van de Beek are coming forward in waves, undeterred and unmolested.

Who do you want to see Solari use our final sub on, Marcelo?

I'll take Ajax's coach

As much as this is deservedly about Real playing poorly, it should also be about Ajax playing great. Ajax is one of the most cohesive units in Europe right now. Their press is suffocating and relentless. They were missing the finishing touch first leg, and they’d be beating most teams left in the CL playing like this.

I didn’t trust the slow *** duo of Kroos and Cas to begin with, and thought Valverde could have been a good move to match Ajax’s speed and youth. The way things are going now I think Solari has to keep a card in his deck in case of injury. Our players are fatigued and overplayed due to the stupidly unfair scheduling we’ve dealt with.
