don't think its a move that's all he got

jape jape I think you would like the Spanish football show with Sid Lowe & Phil, Churros y tactics ran by a RM & Barca guy, very unbiased imo, both cover La liga and the top two teams heavily, The Total Football Show also a favorite of mine, I listen to a few others
Thanks . The Spanish football show is what made me ask the question. I’m a big fan of sid Lowe

Madrid isn't really having that much of a different season then they had last year. Finished in 3rd last year, 17 points behind Barca. Looks to be the same pace this year.

They keep handling business in Champions as I expect them to, the narrative will change.

Trippier was left at home for tonight's match :pimp: About time Aurier gets some playtime again

Goddamn Muller being kicked out of the national team at age 29 is pretty wild. Especially since he still was in a pretty decent spot to become the all time WC goals leader. Hopefully this lights a fire under his *** to try and fight for his position back, but the way he's looked the past couple years has not been very hopeful.

The funniest thing about Low telling the older guys it's their time to go and the national team should move on, is that the same thing applies to him :lol

Real have a strange history of winning CLs in seasons that they underperform domestically. Last season I predicted Real would be trash in the league but still be a favorite in the CL. Of course now that we don’t have the competition’s GOAT in CR7, we’re objectively worse. But at the same time, I also firmly believe the field isn’t as strong this year. I think Barca stands alone as the favorite. I think Real are in that tier of could make a run. If we play any other team like we played against Barca for 160/180 minutes in the Copa, we’d advance. But first thing is first. If we play Ajax as poorly as we did last match and they play as well as they did, then a bunch of kids will have put the nail in the coffin of RM’s most embarrassing season. And memes of CR7 laughing will be posted across the interwebz.

Madrid ain’t winning **** in Europe.
The difference last year Barca was undefeated in the league and that Real Madrid was sooo much better. The point gap is irrelevant.

Marcelo, modric, Kronos, casemiro, Ronaldo were all at the top of their game
This season no one wants to be there

This has been the easiest Madrid team I’ve seen in a while.
Barca didn’t even play well and it wasn’t even close

Ehh, as long as Real Madrid is still in the Champions League they are a contender IMO. There's something about that tournament that brings the best out of them.

Lucien Favre understandably marching out an all-out attacking lineup at home in front of the "Yellow Wall." Aurier will be tested in Trippier's place. Guerreiro is going to bomb forward and make constant overlapping runs on Reus's flank. If I'm Poch, I'm pushing for the away goal. Tottenham is almost certainly not keeping a clean sheet, even with Dav, Alderweireld and Vertonghen at their best defensively. It's a contrarian strategy but Spurs should look to score first in a smart manner. One away goal and Dortmund needs five to advance. If Tottenham scores first, the home crowd gets slightly deflated and loses a bit of hope about advancing.

I know BVB is in poor form. February was a horror show of results for Favre. Dropping points left and right, allowing Bayern to draw level in Bundesliga. However, my prediction is Dortmund scores twice in the first half. Through Reus and Paco. After that, I'm not sure. But wouldn't be surprised to see BVB notch three home goals while utilizing aggressive attacking to 'protect' their back four and Burki's net.

It’s pretty obvious that Solari needs to re-integrate Isco back into this squad that runs out of ideas and has way too predictably rigid of a shape in the final third with the 4-3-3

Any EPL fanboys that want to play the Bale as victim card can take him. If you want to shove your teammates, leave the ground early in El Clasico when you get subbed off, and make the effort to distance yourself from the squad, then you better have the game to back up the attitude. In two matches dude hopefully sealed his fate here. I’m thankful for his immense moments in finals, and hope he’s remembered for them, but it’s like a break up where both sides need to cut their losses now instead of letting it drag further.

rightly so, but why is Kroos untouchable

There were certain key matches where Zizou showed he had balls and took tactical chances. Most of the time they paid off. It would have been interesting to see Solari play the more athletic Valverde to keep up with Ajax’s young guns. But at the same time I don’t blame him for trusting Kroos over a youngster with the season on the line.

Ramos is an idiot btw. Took a ban for a match we aren’t guaranteed to win, and got himself banned for an extra match if we advance for snitching on himself

apparently juve want pep not zizzou

Coupé It Coupé It

Yo what footy podcasts do y’all listen to?

That would be interesting but I didn’t not think Pep wants to leave City.

I don’t listen to any footy podcasts. I have ESPN+ so I can watch ESPN FC whenever, I think they’re hilarious.
