Damn who could have predicted Lopetegui would get fired because the team can't score, Bale & Benzema would be inconsistent scorers and Solari is buns. That is the biggest indictment against Flo was trusting Bale & Benz to carry this team.

As much as I hate him, he brought about an unprecedented/historic CL run. I didn’t think it was going to be like this but it was going to be somewhat rocky post rapey ronnie. I just didn’t think it was going to be this bad. I wouldn’t spell doom yet unless Flo hires the dotard. If that happens, it’s time to start panicking.

If Benz is actually acknowledged for the actual position he plays then he is pretty good at it, he is not a striker.

Also heard why Nasser Al-Khelaifi is so pissed with Barca... In addition to the back channeling in Barca's attempts to get Thiago Silva & Marquinhos, it was the backing out of the qatar sponsorship that really pissed him off. As chairman of the qatar sports investments, he had the deal all tee'd up & Barca backed out of it at the last moment without having another option lined up. I know Madrid is gettin’ some heat for the way this campaign has gone but best believe the same fate awaits for Barca the minute La Pulga decides to hang it up. Since the last treble, he’s almost single handedly carries that team & you can start to see that fade now. I don’t have faith in the club’s leadership to be able to successfully transition from Messi either. The club doesn’t have the dough & their scouting is very meh.

Thing with Flo is that he didn’t only trust Bale and Benz. He also wanted to give Asensio a chance before making a final verdict on Hazard, who Chelsea seemed reluctant to sell even though it’s clear he’s running down his contract. Asensio has been so much of a disappointment this season that people have completely forgotten about him and he’s flown under the radar.
