☘️ Boston Celtics Official 2023-2024 Regular Season Thread ☘️

He just had a bad series.

Fans always overreact.

Kid is 23.
hes 24. I’m sick of the excuses. Dribbling the ball at the three point line, draining the shot clock then putting up a bad shot or a turnover pass.

All the Celtics had to do was get the ball in the paint down low then kick. Simple In-N-Out basketball

Turnovers were a problem all playoffs. Don't wanna kill Tatum too much, I seriously think something was up with his shoulder by the end of it. Still no excuses for the sloppy play.

Also, love how Ime instilled a sense of toughness in dudes like Rob Williams. Nobody thought he would be the type to have a meniscus surgery and come back like that.

But...this constant throwing up the hands about the refs needs to stop. Foul hunting when you have the advantage to just score around the rim in most of your match-ups need to stop. I trust them to come back as a better team.

Was a truly wild, crazy, memorable season. Let's see what the Js do next

“Cheeks”
Yeah all individual stats. He’s great at that. The seasons over now this will give you an opportunity to watch some NBA film over the summer by the time next season comes around you might actually know a thing or two.

First off, kudos to the Warriors. They were the better team. Congrats to them and all Warriors fans who were with that team prior to 2015.

Not the ending that we wanted, but if you take a step back and look at the bigger picture, it’s a season that I will look back on and feel very proud to be a Celtics fan. There were so many instances where this team could have folded. Back in January when they were 11th, game 4 against the Bucks, game 7 against the Heat……getting to the Finals was a great accomplishment! Helluva season, but still got a lot of work left to do.

FWIW, the Celtics are still going after Beal in the summer. Should be an interesting off-season.

Is Beal a good move?

Depends on what we give up for him. Don't really want him if we have to give up one of Marcus, Rob or Al. But if we can snag him for White, Theis, Nesmith, picks and other things, then I'm down for it. He would have to force his way here though, by threatening to leave the Wizards for nothing. Wiz might call his bluff though, because I don't think he'll leave to go to the Spurs. The Blazers are one to keep an eye on though, as they can potentially open up max cap space this summer. With that being said, I don't think that will happen since Beal and Lillard are also close, so I can't see Beal using them as a leverage play.

Think Al would be involved in anything for him.

Don’t think we can afford to just let his salary “expire” next summer. Need to roll his contract over into something.
