A lot of people that I followed were saying it. There was absolutely no reason to announce your sexuality before your album came out. It wasn't like it was a random time, it was two weeks before it dropped then the digital release got pushed up a week ahead to take advantage of the buzz. You had people calling it one of the most important albums in a long time and it was one of the best of the year. The same people saying that are wiping dust off of the CD case. Ocean can't sing worth a damn either. Another of these new age singers that gets a pass for not being able to carry a note.

You can laugh all you want. Its a fact. So many artists have been given a pass for not being able to sing that its acceptable (Rihanna, Trey Songz, Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, etc) . He's a good writer, but a horrible singer. Most people acknowledge that. He has one note that he can hit. Anything else is terrible. Live, forget it.
