Paying $60 w/ a tip isn't irregular for getting a haircut at a Salon. I used to pay $50 (including tip) at Salon Pompeo in Dallas. The lady who cut my hair was knowledgable, gave me advice on what products to use, how to style my hair, and styling techniques. Plus I got a shampoo before/after...
Ah man, GP is a bit out of the way for me. I live in Mesquite and spend most of my time somewhere around 75. There's a spot in Richardson some friends were telling me about called Razorz that sounds like the spot you go to. My past few haircuts have been at Floyd's in either Uptown or Addison...
Try Bumble & Bumble Sumotech. Works good for me and I have really thick hair.
Where in Dallas do you get your haircut? Just moved back home to Dallas and have been looking for a good place.
Trying to change up my regular cut - #1 on the sides faded up, longer on top. Trying to grow out the...
I've been using Bumble & Bumble Sumotech for about 4 years now but have been looking for something with a little less weight. Tried out Rusk Paste as per a suggestion on SF. I'm not 100% sold on it, maybe because I'm so used to the Sumotech, but it is a good product and worth a shot.
Not a challenger by any means. Usually when someone says they are offended by something you said, the courteous/gentleman-like/nice person/human being/etc type thing to do is to offer an apology, not berate the person. Maybe you will learn this as you mature. It seems as if you have yet to learn...
If you're not going to wear them often, why have 9-10 pairs? You can get away with having 4 pairs - 2 black, 2 brown - so you have a small rotation and if they're not worn often they will last you a good amount of time.
For some reason, I can not get on board with GATs. Maybe I haven't seen good fits incorporating them. If you have pics of fits that sold you on them, please share.
Two pairs of shoes that I've been considering - I'm really feeling the Adidas:
This.
....is bad advice.
If you can drop $200 on pants I would suggest other brands, i.e., Epaulet, Suit Supply, Howard Yount. Hopefully you can let out these pants a little. I said this earlier, but you look pretty muscular/built, and I think the overly tapered trousers throw off the balance...
Any recs for some summer sneakers? Already have a pair of white Stans and beige Vans - looking for more of athletic than casual sneaker. Trying to up my #normcore #athleisure game. Was considering some New Balances but I feel like they're a bit too clunky for my feet.
@kjbaron89 Are the gray trousers the same measurements as blue? It might be the angle but the blue pair looks skinnier than the gray. You look pretty built and I think a more generous cut pant would help with the overall balance of your look.
Speaking of white sneakers, anyone else notice higher end brands putting out a shoe similar to the Stan Smiths? The silhouette of the shoe is a lot sleeker, but I still think it's a reiteration of the classic with the colored heel.
