This is the ultimate nitpick, but when he opened the box and I seen that carbon fiber paper in the OG box I was like ewww. That just ain’t right, where’s the black plastic paper lol.
With that said 2 pairs. Hopefully 1 under retail.
I think some people are judging the “offness” of the blue sole against OG’s that clearly have been tinted and restored. Some of the pairs don’t actually show an accurate representation of what the shoes looked like almost 30 years ago. These new ones are as close as they’ve been.
You are right, just not for this particular release. Maybe that strike will affect the Christmas and early 2025 releases. These have been sitting in Memphis in the warehouse and the other warehouses for quite some time. The sneakers don’t come from overseas directly to the retailers. They sit in...
Just watched this video, I’ve had every retro of these except the ‘94. Many pairs of ‘01’s. I’m not a fan of the ‘94. These are the best retro of the BC3 in my opinion. Cats are buggin’ with the frivolous whining.
I can’t front I enjoy watching Mike Rich’s videos. Was surprised to see he said he likes the 2018 better than the new retro. That 2018 is just so bad in my opinion. The BC3 is my favorite sneaker of all time. That 2018 is just as bad as the 2016 True blues. The pair he has in his video actually...
The funny part about “cementprintgate” is when the reimagined wc3’s were out, guys were coveting the lighter cement print pairs . Dudes were mixing and matching like crazy and returning pairs with the bold print. Fast forward 18 months and now the print is too light. Yall know there are people...
I think some of the other brands have been putting out quality product to the point where it’s enough to keep Nike somewhat honest. These kids are opting for other brands a lot. Nike can’t really afford to release straight garbage the way they did in 2006-2015 era. But in the distant future who...
I get it trust me I do. I just had this discussion in another thread a few days ago. But what we and when I say we,I mean my generation which is the end of generations X and the start of the millennials are gonna have to realize is we are not Nikes target demographic anymore. We are getting...
In can see that. I actually think that’s going to eventually happen with the XI. They keep asking for the lower PL. I just hope when/if it happens they do it like the 1’s where we have the regular highs and mids and now we have the ‘85 cut.
I was just speaking on how a lot of the old heads...
I would have to disagree my kids grew up with a father with 100’s of sneakers in the house. OG’s, first retro whatever. I even bought them OG’s when they were really little that they wore. The toddler sneakers didn’t crumble because the midsole were different.
… but anyways they are 16 and 17...
This thread is still panic mode since I last visited on Sunday I see. SMH.
Sidenote: those rare air 3’s or whatever they are called someone posted up there are complete garbage. Gas station fakes vibes with that color blocking.
Definitely gonna grab a pair at release. Would be nice if I was able to grab a second pair below retail down the line. I’ve been able to snag hella pairs below retail the last 12 months. Mostly from the secondary markets too.
