I was away from hoopin for the last ten years. I recently got back into playing and almost felt out of place with my 90s long baggies. All these kids are wearing the tighties that we hated wearing for our school teams back in the day.
Agreed. In all the hype over the UNC iii I managed to get some Katrina for retail. Love them. I'm still a white cements guy but these are fire. Super pumped to get a pair.
I'm just deciding between the 2 pairs I have. 11.5 and 11. If I don't want the 11 I'll let you know. I'd want retail in Canada - which is what I paid, plus shipping to you.
Nah man, it's not even like that. I've played in every Jordan model I've owned over the years. I just want them to last. The Air Zoom Kobe 1 is a good example of one time on the court and it creased to almost unrecognizable. I still wear my Kobe Laser 2k4 which are older and they look pretty...
Finally got mine in hand. The leather is soft, but man does it look like it is going to crease like crazy. It's my first pair of V's... not sure why I expected more. I went true to size and they are roomier in the toe box than other JB releases and I don't have narrow feet. I actually hit on...
Bike prices are nuts nowadays. I've sold Jordans in the past to buy new bikes and regretted it... Some OG playoff XI, early 2000s Cement III's. I don't have the bike anymore and don't miss it. I do miss the kicks though.
Even now I have a pair of the Spiderman 1's and I'm tempted to sell...
I hear you. It’s impossible to cop from online retailers. Now with eBay charging tax and also the exchange rate being absolutely brutal, a pair of Js can cost you 400 cdn trying to go that route. It’s frustrating.
I had the fab 5 black and blue in grade 10 on release. Balled the **** out of them and then cut them into low tops in the end ... I have a pair of the 2003 white and blue retros and I still rock them to the office. We def need the OG white and purple to come back.
16's were a great shoe. I used to do customs of the gingers. They were easy to get off eBay at the time as no one really liked them on release. I'd dye them and paint the midsoles. Marked them up a bit but it wasn't worth the hours I put in. Anyhow, sold a pair to a guy in FLorida that...
Agree 100. These are still my go to performance Jordan. I used to play in an OG pair of Indiglo back in the day. Fell in love with that shoe for the court. On the rare occasion when I lace up to play as an old man, I'm wearing my retro last shots.
My first pair of Jordans was the bordeaux...
