Man this thread is like the B Grade thread of the Jordan doc.
Why aren't ya'll in the General one? Why this one too?
Need a pippen retro
You don’t know basketball then.Rodman’s time as a Bull however is actually overrated
I love Scottie, I love Huaraches, but ... I'll be honest. I had these in 11th grade. The white pair. They really kind of sucked LOL. I remember being all jazzed when I got them, but the more I wore them, not so much. They were stiff and bulky, the shape wasn't great, and that giant plastic side panel was too much. We need a PROPER retro of the OG Flight Huaraches, in the OG GR colorways plus that Chicago colorway Pip rocked. I'd kill someone for that PENeed a pippen retro
these are the ones im waiting on...i doubt they ever retro these but would copp the pippens, GP and jason kidd morph shoes
I just explained why and I coach AAU ... and I played. I didn’t say Rodman wasn’t important or wasn’t good. Re read with comprehension what I wrote and get back to me. Similar people have echoed what I’ve said professionally. You don’t know basketball then.
I still have my pair of Jason Kids Morph shoes. My pair are the (A) pair. They were really cool and the concept was interesting, but they didn't breath AT ALL! I wore my pair once and not even to play. Just wore them around. My feet were so hot! I couldn't even imagine playing in these. With that morph skin being all synthetic and your foot had to be a sopping mess after playing.
I generally try to stay out of debates like this on the internet, but that's an interesting point of view. "Never more than a role player," I mean. I probably can't agree that someone who was the DPOTY and led the league in rebounding for seven consecutive seasons was a role player at every stage of his NBA career. I guess that definition fits if the only thing that matters about basketball is scoring a lot of points.Simply can't compare a prime Rodman defensively to a Rodman at the tail end of his career.
Good defender and Great rebounder for his entire career, and never more than a role player at any time in the NBA.
No, he was a defensive specialist. Thus a role player. A niche role.I generally try to stay out of debates like this on the internet, but that's an interesting point of view. You and I have very different views about the game of basketball, which is totally fine. No, he was a defensive specialist. Thus a role player. A niche role.
It’s not just about scoring but that’s the largest portion of the game. High-volume score is the most meaningful or valuable aspect to basketball a player can bring.
Rodman wasn’t some all-around great player. A superstar or franchise corner stone. A specialist.

No but Bill Russell did more and had way more impact than Rodman. Offensively there’s a gap in Bill’s favor. But are we taking into account leader ship? Being a teams best player and leader? Hell, a player coach? Are you really comparing those two? Ben Wallace would be a more apt comparisonwas bill russell a role player?
Peep the thumbnail. Unc shorts with Colombia’s
I re-read and still disagree. Rodman in no way was overrated with the Bulls. I’ve followed his whole career.I just explained why and I coach AAU ... and I played. I didn’t say Rodman wasn’t important or wasn’t good. Re read with comprehension what I wrote and get back to me. Similar people have echoed what I’ve said professionally.
We all have our different views and thats cool. I'm calling him a role player because he simply never had much of an offensive game(pts or assist) in the league, not knocking him for it because he started playing so late in his life. He was Great at what he did tho, which you spoke on in your post.I generally try to stay out of debates like this on the internet, but that's an interesting point of view.
