Agree 1000%. But that’s how Nike will get us in a few years. Putting them out the way they should be. Chicago, UNC, and Black Toe were done so much better than Breds or Royals. Which is a true shame, cause many agree those are two of the most classic colorways.

Got bored and decided to mess around with some off white inspired lace swaps. Not sure if I’ll rock em like this, but kinda feeling it.

Maybe it’s just me trying to talk myself out of spending money on something else I don’t need, but there’s something about the sail side panel on the bred toes that makes the red toe box just look too loud and clownish. OG Breds and Black toes are just so much more subtle and wearable to me.

It looks like the more limited thing was a false rumor. Like I just mentioned, every FTL location in my city is getting bred toes, when in the past it’s always only been 1 location for OG HIs. They’ve upped production and distribution if anything. Soon 1’s will be sitting like most other retro...

In the past in my city 1 house of hoops location has been the only place in the city to get OG NA Jordan 1’s (plus 1 boutique store). For bred toes ALL FTLs are getting them. That’s the biggest OG NA Jordan 1 release in remastered history for where I live.

Good eye, fellow Canadian. I was rocking tan laces in the CM’s for a while, but have been going with shadow laces for most the winter. Such a versatile shoe, any lace color works great in them.

One of my local FTLs put out the GS Bred Toes early. It’s definitely a cool shoe, but the aging man in me tells me I gotta pass. No need to own these if you have breds, chis, black toes, AND SBBs. Nice consolation if you’re missing most of those and don’t care about the true history of the J1...

Actually feels pretty good to pass on 1 for maybe the first time haha. Will try to stay strong for the bred toe and royal-chi as well. Saving money is nice.

Got them at Winners in Canada. Basically like Ross or Marshall’s, think they were like 12.99canadian.
