Wow, wish I knew that! In fairness, I didn't put in as much leg work in getting a good number of shoes I've wanted. It's always been online or bust for me, unless there were some conveniently located raffles.
Yep, back when Zebras peaked at over a grand. Definitely regret paying resell given...
Most recently, the FoG 1s, and before that I was trying for the Black Diamond SBs. Completely passed on Off-Whites, and have tried for the first few iterations of Yeezy Boosts (last attempt being Zebras). Most of my after market purchases since 2012 have been the Chocolate 750s, some older SBs...
Lol let me rephrase, I meant to say I was only able to score retail on one pair of shoes in 7 years! I've had to pay resell for basically all shoes I've bought since.
Or I just have bad luck in conjunction with being selective!
Lol far from the truth, every pair in my collection has been...
Mesh Bone 1s...? Prayers have been answered! Hopefully I can score a pair at retail for a change, have struck out on every single shoe I like over the years except 2012 white cement 4s
To you folks who have the Diamonds, what's the verdict? The croc print hardly looks anything like the 2005 pair; I feel as if I gotta squint just to distinguish the scales lol
I'll take your word on quality; but I respectfully disagree on the color blocking. Thanks for the input!
Appreciate the feedback; I can see how the small nods to the original and small detailing on the vintage effects/touches would be appealing. Those details are indeed atypical, but to me it...
Any word on a confirmed release date for the yellow FOG 1s?
Also as a side note from seeing recent mentions of the Union AJ1s: could someone kindly explain to me what the appeal for those shoes are? I've never actually held a pair in person, so I can't opine on quality, but they seem as if they...
In fairness, I've already worn my pair at least a dozen times since I got them. I'd be pretty concerned about how Bones would hold up after even a few wears, especially at their pricing.
A little off topic, but can a fellow a NT brethren kindly photoshop the Bone FOG 1 with a red leather upper? Curious to see how that'd look; then we'd get a Red Bone FOG 1. lol.
The rubber cage is a little concerning on the leather upper of the Bone FOG1. Looks like it may be best to lace them fairly loosely to avoid having the cage dig into the uppers.
What's been your experience with Jason Markk's repel? Do you have to recoat you shoes after a certain amount of time? But yes, that's the plan. Hopefully I'll even have this problem to worry about
 I wish it was actually that easy for me, no-sweats policy at work means Bones will have to...
As beautiful and high quality the Bone FOG 1s are, my worry is maintenance. I wear denim on a regular basis, and the Bones look like they'd be highly susceptible to irreversible denim stains and scuffs.
Black FOG 1s on the other hand simply have it all: they look good, they're low-maintenance...
Hm, perhaps my pair was just lightly finished? I noticed a small water mark form on the toe box after getting a couple of drops of water on 'em. I'd actually prefer if they were finished leather as it would make cleaning them much easier. How do you clean your tan af1s?
Not an SB, but definitely lovin the quality on these Dunks! May be the closest thing to a comfy Hender Scheme-esque Dunk we'll get.
Anyone have any tips on caring for unfinishee leather? Looks like these are highly absorbent and may not take too well with standard shoe cleaning solutions
(Non-SB related question, but still a Dunk regardless)
Anyone own a pair of the NikeLab Dunk Lux low from a year or two ago? Think they came out in vachetta tan and artic orange. Scooped up a pair on eBay for around 40 bucks, wanted to hear what ya'll think of the shoes.
Yeah, I never really understood why DBs are limited either. Maybe if they were only limited initially, followed by subsequent restocks after generating artificial demand. That ought to maximize proceeds (assuming that is Nike's primary goal). Wish the SBs had a white midsole, would've been a...
