ZOOM SPIRIDONS SUMMER 2016

I don't have any complaints about comfort and I knew what to expect with sizing. I still find them very comfortable BUT. They don't feel as bouncy as the last retros or even the spirimic hybrid abominations I have (with full spiridon sole and zoom tooling)

What is the underfoot feel of these like? How do they compare to, say, the Vomero 5s—I'm guessing firmer and lower to the ground? How does this zoom air setup feel like—do they feel like any other full length zoom setup, like the Kobe 1 Protro?

I haven't had vomero 5 but I've had P6000. I found P6000 comfortable in a squishy, soft way. Spiridons are firmer and have more bounce and response. More like a pegasus. It's not a full length zoom setup. I remember correctly, the zoom air is in the outsole pods and not in the midsole, which is why these feel a lot bouncier than many other zoom shoes. You don't get much ground feel at all.

Cool! Yeah, I'm fine with firmer, but I'm not sure about bouncy for all day wear—sometimes I get a bit of foot fatigue from the more bouncy setups. Curious to hear from others about their experience too.

I wore my first pair nearly every day for four months and found them super comfortable with no issues.

these don't have the bounce you get from the more modern day foam tech in running shoes so foot fatigue and all that isn't going to be an issue with these.

the zoom has a nice comfortable responsiveness through each step, but still a fairly firm feeling for the most part. been rocking my pair since release day endlessly and continuously reach for them

Has anyone commented on the iridescence of the sole on these? Kinda cool, but I wonder why?

Wore mine today to my daughter’s volleyball tournament. Was on my feet for pretty much the whole day, and I concur with what others have said - still bouncy, but not as bouncy as previous versions. Still comfy though.

I mean, with the real pairs pretty regularly being available for significantly less than retail, why would anyone go for the takedown?

I’m just curious as to what the differences are. If they feel the same, comfort wise, then it might make for a nice $20-30 pickup at Ross or Marshall’s. Lol

Honestly that sounds like my jam—the bouncier foams nowadays are cool, but I find they can really be a hit-and-miss for casual wear. Thanks to all those who shared their experience!

Now, if only I can find a pair of the Concords, or Signal Blues for sale for international... (Or even the Phantom UNDFTD's for a decent price; the slightly looser fit sounds great.)

Do those have that translucent synthetic like on some off whites, union dunks, etc. that yellows and creases/folds horribly? Turrible. I hope they at least still have zoom air. Like guy said above, they could be good gym shoes for $50 or under like I was using my spirimics for.

Has anyone gotten their barely volts in yet? I’m hoping to see some in hand pics as opposed to just the SNKRS pics.
