ZOOM SPIRIDONS SUMMER 2016

Looks like no tax just shipping here

Thanks for posting that. Had a wild first part of my first day of vacation today and totally forgot today was release day till like 1pm Pacific time. Expected to be SOL but thankfully not. Saved the $15 Packer charges for shipping since Sneaker Room didn’t charge tax. The $15 it charges for shipping is what L.A. tax comes out to so paid same price as I would in a store here.

Okay, I ordered a 12. Last time I placed an order through snkrroom they cancelled my order after confirming it..Let's see what happens.

Received shipping confirmation from Snkrroom.

Me too. Saw your first post and was like, crap, I hope that doesn’t happen 🤣

I just copped a 10.5. These are fsr everywhere. I seen vomeros sell faster than these. What strange time we are living in.

Spiridons are the definition of cult classic when it comes to shoes. The ONLY time they sell out, is if they’re limited; and that’s not even 100% of the time. Them sitting is how it should be, and how it’s been in the past.
Didn’t they sell out in 2016 though? And this really really makes me think how limited the ATC2 was in august

That was a limited Nikelab release. Entirely different.
I wasn’t originally planning on this but I bought a second pair tonight before they dry up. I don’t expect to see these again for a long time, most likely. I want to rock a pair a fair amount and realized I would be salty once I beat them up a bit and didn’t have a backup pair. When I wear Nike runners regularly even casually, they tend to get beat up a lot quicker than most of my other sneakers.

Yeah, I skipped the 2016 release and then like a year later they were going for like 350 something crazy

I tried to get the 2016s but failed, it didn’t seem like an easy release to me whatsoever. That’s part of what made me go back and double up tonight. Had zero intention of that going into this one but I’ve always loved how this colorway looks, it’s a comfortable shoe, and easily wearable with a lot of things.
I’ve regretted a lot of double ups in my life but I don’t on classic runners like Air Maxes and these. I just wear them and don’t baby them. So they get worked waaayyyyyyy more than my Jordan and Nike bball retros. I’m on the verge of unloading lots of that stuff because at this point in my life it just doesn’t get much wear other than in the house (if not ever worn outside) and on weekends. I wear runners far more frequently.

Doubling up on shoes that you like rather than random releases seems about right. Esp the classics

SNS shipped with the quickness so I’ll have my too long floppy pair today and hopefully will still be able to order my TTS from somewhere if needed.

I love these. I’ve never seen this colorway in person or touched the mudguard material in hand. I’m definitely getting the black pair.

Zoom is truly undefeated, but I’m sure these extra thick insoles don’t hurt either.

So your half size up is too big? And you need your TTS pair?

I just doubled up on a pair from End.

Bought a 10.5 this time as that’s my TTS and I want to compare to the 11 that I originally bought.

On that note, urbanstar in Rome ships incredibly fast. Order was placed on Thursday night and the shoes are already in Philly lol. I’m not even gonna be back in DC from LA until Jan 1 so these will be a late Xmas present to myself.

Correct. 2016 was a much different scenario. I'm not sure if too many shops received this specific cw. Doubling up was near impossible (at least in bigger sizes), and prices were sky-high.

I wore my 2016s with care and they're still in very good shape. Still copped 2024s b/c I'm fine wearing this shoe till they die or I die, whichever comes first lol.

Accurate. The OG cw was difficult as was the Parra and Olympic cws. Most of the others were going for below retail. I got a few diff cws for less than $70, including the Stash cw, which definitely flooded outlets. Hell, all the colors were in outlets. It was a plentiful time for Spiridon lovers and outlet hounds.

Shoutout to whoever runs @spiridon97 on IG. We were going hard during the previous release lol.

Yup, those Olympics were ridiculously hard to cone by. Never did end up getting those. Got the Stashes for like $65 way down the line.

Plenty of stock around for the og's this time around, small sizes are sitting everywhere.

Definitely doesn't feel like these are sitting or easy cop for those of us size 12s lol.

12.5 always a unicorn for me, I almost feel obligated to pickup if I see one, any shoe lol

I do remember the last release, the various cws being widely available on discount.

I had picked up a few cw while grabbing the last am1 anniversary royals from a boutique.

But this og, similar to the silver bullet 97s or neon 95s, didn't seem attainable unless by resell. Which seems like I'll need to do.
