The 2024s are amazing in person!

The 2024 feels way more durable and sturdy and the outsole is thicker compared to the 2016. The 2024 is superior in my opinion.

Torn if I should enter every raffle there is or not. Feel like this could be a semi limited release.

How do they feel? I never owned originals, but I know the 05s were more comfortable under foot than the 16s. Not that 16s were bad, just not as soft, and responsive…. If that makes sense.

Idk if I got the og reds from 97 or if I sold em… gotta look for em now but I remember wearing em once and they broke 😂😂😂

Any leads yet where these dropping?

They’re super comfortable. Thick dream cell insole, and the thickness of the out sole feel solid and more stable than the 2016. If you really put all your weight into heel or forefoot you could feel the air Zoom working.

Id go true to size. They run narrow, but will break in fine. Half size up, there’s about an inch of space, and there would probably be major heel slippage once they break in.

Do yours also have slightly wavy/wrinkly fabric below the mesh in the toe box, mostly visible straight from above?
It looks like it on your pictures but hard to tell. I know getting perfectly assembled mass produced sneakers is more or less impossible but I'm so OCD about this. But I suspect most pairs will have this, like the 2020 AM3:s with a wrinkly right toe box which was really common.
Otherwise I agree with you on TTS. I've been wearing mine with thinner regular air max insoles but I think after break in that the original insole will be just fine.

You talking about the underlay under the mesh? Yea it’s a little wrinkly but you really have to look for it.

Wondering about these two lined up against each other. One looks a full size longer than the other. Is that the case or am I seeing things? I had to go 1/2 size up on 2016s.

Oh okay, yea that pair on the left is 9.5 from 2016 and the pair on the right is size 10 2024, was trying to show the thickness of the rubberized outsole on the newer one compared to how thin the rubberized outsole was on the 2016s. But I went true to size in 2016 and I’m passing the size 10 over to my friend. Going true to size in this year’s retro as well.

Yeah I think I’m in for a pair next week. Regret not getting on the last wave of retros, but glad to hear these are feeling better underfoot.
