Anyone have pairs from ‘05/06? These just came in and noticed the tongue swoosh is on the same side. There’s another pair in a diff size on ebay and those have the “correct” placement for them. Production dates are also a year apart - one in ‘06 and one in ‘07.

My tongue swooshes are on opposite sides. I'll have to check the production date tomorrow

the hunt is finally over. I came home to a shady looking box and was super worried they would be all messed up. Nope, shoes, the box, tissue paper all were in impeccable shape. Even came with an original receipt. They are lightly used but I can’t see any signs of wear except a little dirt on the sole. I’m thrown back by their condition. I’m on cloud 9 right now, haven’t been this excited for a pair in a long time. All in for $200.
I LOVE these.
Now to find golds for a decent price.

I have them. I scuffed the patent part and there’s really nothing I can do to fix them. They’re my beater now when I take my kid to soccer games.

How’s the shape on em? Is the patent holding up?

Shape looks good. The patent is stiffer than the other materials so it’s actually harder (not as comfortable). If I could redo it, I’d probably opt for the non patent black pair. I feel like patent should only be on Jordan XIs.

I also noticed recently that both my DS Desert Red 16s are starting yellow along bits of the mid. Pretty annoying considering both pairs of my ‘05s are still pearly white!

Now that I’m thinking about it, I should probably check all my pairs!

That's a great price on the Olympics. Wanted those after the fact but the resell was ugly.

None of mine have yellowing yet thankfully.

Wasn’t all that hopeful I’d find these in my size for sale. One deal went south after the buyer backed out last minute. One guy sitting on DS pairs but won’t sell any of his stash. But found these randomly for $63/shipped. Need a deep clean and a sole swap but I am so happy to have these again after 23 years.

Factory flaw on the tongue swoosh aside, glad to have these 05s. (Why did Nike put such short tongues on these retros?!)

Guess I should pick up the white pair while I’m at it, right?
