I think the reasoning for the delay email is Chinese New Years is coming up and the factories will be closed at that time. They have to send it out so we know what's going on when we don't get our orders. I think those of us that ordered last month will get it within two weeks time. I'm still gonna chat it up with a rep and see if mine will ship soon.

^^^ Yeah Good Luck!, i just emailed NDC again wanting an explanation as to why they can email me 'it's being wrapped and should ship in a couple of days" to an email the very next day with "your order will be delayed and shipped on or before Feb 26, 2013"!?!?

I love how Nike sends emails out saying the "finishing touches" are being put on your shoes and it looks great.
Acting like it takes a whole day to put the swoosh on, then to glue the bottom on, then to put laces in, etc.
A shoe takes 5 minutes to make.

It's probably an automated email sent to those with active iD orders. Anybody iD something else and get this delay email as well?
I don't know maybe they are getting better materials, i think someone was told this.

Definitely. Some of the Xmas pairs were prone to varying swoosh thickness and transparency, and those were a cut out swoosh that was applied to the side. Some of the id's look like the swoosh is painted on?

From what I saw of the IDs at NIketown, the swoosh appears to be stamped on.
