It’s been almost two weeks since I outclassed you in the food thread.

I have since moved on. I suggest you follow my lead.
you did not respond to my last post. you slizzard like a snake away from the main stage.

your fake persona is catching up to your lies. why would I follow someone who is validating themself only when the opportunity shows up.

see you in Hawaii

So, it turns out my wife has gone Disney obsessed this morning - but found a really good deal for February 2027 - so the 2 of us are going again and staying in the Marvel hotel with the meal plan which will be nice.

Paid a deposit and then it's like $90 a month between now and then so that seems good.

Spent the day in Abbotabad yesterday. Town is known to be the last hiding place of Osama Bin Laden. Went to his now abandoned compound after Seal Team 6 took it out in 2011.
Just a little plot of land with overgrown vegetation & trash laying around. I grabbed a couple of small rocks 🪨 as souvenirs, lol.

Then had some dope Afghan food. Pulao, Chicken boti, Chapli & chiclen kababs and naan. Then we went to a waterfall but it was too far deep in so I wasn't going to make the trek forward with flop flops. And the best part of yesterday was this 93 years old house of worship called Ilyaasi Masjid.

There's nonstop water supply flowing through at all times day & night. In the hot months the water is cool & during the cool months the water turns hot all by itself. A natural well of sorts. Overall had a lot of fun yesterday.

Went to a place called Raja Bazaar to try a restaurant named Dilbar Hotel. Saw some dope dishes from their on a YouTuber food vloggers channel sometime ago. It was a bit disappointing as the dishes dude showed in the vid turned out to be their "Winter menu" but we made the most of it nonetheless.

Got spinach with meatballs, some chicken curry & naan. Also pics of the insanely populated locale + the mountain roads we had to drive through to get there. And today we are headed to a touristy town called Murree. Local time here is 12:14PM & as we were driving through Abbotobad I spotted a DD & Subway so HAD to stop in.

Got the mugli & Fajita chicken sandwiches. Absolutely delicious. Stateside none of these items are Halal so being in a Muslim country thank God I can eat literally everything. The Fajita chicken was *chefs kiss*. Some random 🐄 walking past us on our way to the main road. Common occurrence in the village.

Heading back home from Murree. Surreal experience. Had so much fun on the cable car. The views were unbelievable! Had a delicious meal nearby as well. Goes from 100% visibility to thick fog in a matter of

Murree reminded me a lot of Juneau, Alaska with it's vast mountains covered with thick Evergreens. Today, breakfast of champions before going to the nearby dam. We just wrapped up an hours worth of boat rides & jetskis at Khanpur Dam. 30 minute full round with the family boat & then 2 jetskis for Pakistani 5,000 rupees so $17.

Now we're headed to the Nation's Capital- Islambad. Going back to Faisal Mosque, a really nice restaurant later & some McDonald's on the way back t.nite.

Shah Faisal Mosque in Islamabad. Beautiful as ever. From there our generous driver rec'd we go to a place called Dino Valley. It's a dinosaur themed theme park. Pretty cool if I do say so myself. Entry was like 300 rupees so basically like $1.04.

We did the bumper car & cable car. Had a blast! From there we went to Tahir Khan Restaurant. Probably the best food I've had so far in Pakistan. Goodness the flavors of the BBQ & naan was unlike anything I've had before.

Super hospitable staff. The culture of mehman-navazi(guest hospitality) in Pakistan is absolutely heart touching. They gave us an entire tour of the restaurant & complimentary tea & dessert. God bless an amazing day.

Chilling in Islamabad. Munched on some DD & cheese sticks. My adorable little uncle enjoying a donut 🍩. Stopped in for some cheese sticks. Made reservations at this fancy Chinese spot called Mandarin Kitchen.

Got high hopes, see ya'll later. So many damn beautiful women in Islamabad it's insane! The elevators in this joint have anti-virus handrails. That would come in superhandy in NYC, lol.

Mandarin Kitchen was awesome! We had such a great time. Service was absolutely fantastic & the dishes so fresh so aromatic. It was a little bit different from American Chinese food but delicious nonetheless.

We got honey spicy wings, spring rolls, dumpling basket, shrimp dumpling basket, cashew chicken, General tsao chicken, sesame chicken, sweet & sour chicken, Thai salad, fresh apple & mango juice, kiwi chiller, peach iced tea which all came out to be 25,438 PKR so $90.

I have absolutely fallen in love with Islamabad. It is such a beautiful lively & vibrant city with a ton of nightlife. There's so much to do out here. A bit hot AF but it's all good.

Afterwards we went to Centaurus Mall to get us & our driver McDonald's & I have to say the mall was beautiful. Since it's a halal McD's I literally got 1 of everything off their menu  It all came out to be 11,788 PKR so $41. What a bargain.

Had some samosa chaat & samosas for late snack which came out to be 340 PKR so $1.20. Also got fresh sugarcane juice large glass for 100 rupees so .36 cents, lol. Then a kind uncle seated next to me hit me with the free fresh Guava fruit. Hanging off from the back of the dollar cab omw to my next destination 😅. Just got to this museum we want to check out. Let's see what it's all about.
