N n4nike my wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Unico a few years ago. One of our friends went last year and said the service sucked, but she’s kind of a ***** and complains about everything. My wife and I had excellent service the whole time we were there.

I think it depends what kind of vibe you’re going for, but that will determine whether you wanna be in Cancun or Riviera Maya (or a little bit further down into Tulum). I have an excellent car service that will take you in a private van down to either location for like $120 round trip and stop to get you two drinks each on the way.

Americana grand fiesta in cancun is a super dope all inclusive. They have adults only options too. 5 stars, highly recommend. I really want to honeymoon there.

Flew to Cincinnati for Yussef Dayes’ concert. It seems to be an old city that they’re working on rebuilding. Some of the best icecream I’ve ever had is there.

Yea sometimes its nice to just be quiet and not worry about watching a screen or even listening to music... just let your mind wander.

One week down in Japan. Split time between Tokyo and Osaka. The sheer volume of people here is overwhelming for me but the buzz and energy of Tokyo is incredible. I’ve been in mostly busy, touristy areas but the way the Japanese embed shrines and temples into their city life is dope. Feels like the perfect balance between chaos and serenity. As a cat person, their reverence for them is appreciated—cat art is everywhere. Shoutout lovehateself for inspiring confidence, i just surrendered to the fact that i would get lost but google maps and translate have been so clutch here.

Japanese food has definitely moved up in my personal rankings lol outside of the occasional sushi, i never cared to mess with Japanese food back in the states. so i didn’t know what to expect, in fact wasn’t even excited for Japan since i wasn’t a big fan of the cuisine. I was wrong, the gastronomy here is so damn deep and flavorful. I’ve tried to have something different each day and have not been disappointed. Dipping ramen, Japanese curry, and okonomiyaki have been incredible

Went on my first river float of the summer season at the Skykomish river yesterday to beat the heat around the PNW (it was around 90 yesterday which is hot for this area) and had a blast. It's so relaxing to lay on a tube and float down the river while enjoying a few brews. Did get a leg burn from the knee down to my ankles but it only really hurts when it rubs my pants today lol. Sadly didn't get any pics as my friend and I forgot our waterproof phone cases so just locked them in the car. River was very cold but as you're in a tube you don't get that wet unless you put your arms in and your back only gets small amounts of water underneath.

small rant but yall, some tourists are just human garbage and have no couth. seen tourists leaving trash behind at museums/shrines multiple times, and then talking obnoxiously loud when it’s supposed to be a quieter space because people are praying. and then just today saw a tourist yelling “**** you! **** you!” to a worker at a small souvenir shop just because she couldn’t haggle and couldn’t get her items tax free (i didn’t intervene but just hung around to make sure she didn’t try to get physical. her bootsy *** husband didn’t do anything to deescalate or tell her to chill). Sorry to bring this kinda energy to the thread, but man it’s frustrating to witness.

end of the day, i trust the NT fam is far more considerate when traveling. Hope yall are enjoying the summer outside!

I stand by my comment spain has to be the most racist country in europe they would rather tell tourist not to come to spain rather than deal with their own citizens buying and renting airbnbs to tourist.
