maybe open a factory here in America to help with the unemployment problem we have, heck Detroit has enough factories doing nothing that im sure you could grab one for a steal
This. Also, possibly more collabs (but not as many as Reebok does with the Insta Pump Fury. Damn, they ran that shoe into the ground).Absolutely nothing.
Costs are down, prices are up, profits are through the roof. The delicate balance between supply and demand has been achieved.
if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Im not saying close all overseas factories cuz that would be stupid but you also have to connect with america a little more as an american based company. There are many many people who only do business with american made products and opening an american factory might break even production wise but you also revive a city by providing jobs for americans and saying that all americans are lazy is pretty small minded because there are no 100% stereotypes out there.so basically pay US workers a lot more than Asian workers to do lesser work? oh yeah, you know you're fired.
slap yourself. 150 is fair. the MOST a premium made in Italy 2 should be is about 200 when adjusted for inflation, if you want to use that logic. if you think 300 you are just another sucker in this game falling for the prompt increase in the price of shoes SOLELY due to the amount of new popularity.U want premium leather made in Italy a gr at 150? Slap yourself. Get ya bread up.
So easy to tell who's educated in this thread and who isn't.
You're trying to see homicide rates through the roof?I'd only make enough of the holiday Jordan 11s for the stores to have 1 pair in each size.
Thing is, those crappy designs (as you called them) are selling. They're an alternative for the Individuals who fall into that price range. They may NOT be as popular and have their own thread on NikeTalk such as models 1-14, but if you pay close attention, they're everywhere. The brand knows' some times all it takes is the "Jumpman logo" and/or the name "Jordan" to move their products. Lower income parents and adults not hip to the OG models, often purchase these based on price and availability. Those so-called crappy models are playing a pivital role in generating JB's 3billion+ profit. You don't have to be a CEO to see that.
This responses in this thread (for the most part) are the reason why we're not the CEO of JB lol.
Personally, I'd get better designers especially with this whole "I am not Michael. I am Jordan" thing they had going on during AS weekend. I mean I get that signature shoes of other Jordan athletes only make up a small portion of profit, but at least back up the comfort/updated tech in a new shoe with a good looking design.
I get Michael himself isn't playing anymore, but at least protect the brand's legacy by not putting crappy designs (both models and colre sellingaor ways) out there for sale.
info on avatarFind the next Tinker because all these other designers for new sigs/ideas are awful.
No reason Melo and Paul sigs should look as bad as they do.
I was referring more to signature lines with Jordan.. not so much a generic team Jordan shoe. I just think Melo and CP3 should have better looking shoes is all. I guess you sacrifice a good signature shoe with Jordan just to make sure you get every retro lol... only plus side I see with signing with JB.
